[center]Eliot enjoys making people smile, even if it at his own expense. He hates when people around him feel down and believes that laughter is the answer to all of life's problems. He is rarely serious but when he does find himself having to become serious, he is straight to business and doesn't linger. The faster he can get back to joking and making people laugh, the better! He doesn't believe in taking advantage of people or using them for your own gains. He is quick to give respect to those around him and is so carefree, even the harshest of insults run off him like water. After all, people can't possibly make fun of him if he's constantly making fun of himself. He's quick to try and calm down a situation but will stand up for what he believes to be right if he has to. Just a chill kind of guy. His neglect helped shape his attitude towards himself and his ability to laugh at it all. After all, if you can't laugh then you might as well cry and he learned pretty quickly that crying did nothing for him.

Being the only child in a broken home, Eliot found himself neglected quite often. He hrd to learn to take care of himself because either his mother or father were too busy with their own lives to bother with his. It wasn't that they wanted to neglect, at least he hoped. It was more that they were so wrapped up in their own lives, they figured the other would give Eliot what he needed, so he was usually left to do it himself. Because of that, he had developed a rather decent skill at cooking! After all, he couldn't just eat mac and cheese his whole life, now could he? 

When it came time for him to leave for college, he couldn't have gone fast enough. He practically kicked his parents out of his dorm room after unpacking. Though he has tried to get in touch with his parents from time to time, the calls were usually short lived and they end up ending the call before he could get a proper word in. So he stopped trying to call them and, whenever they remember he exists, he may get a call from one of them every three or four months. He had to get a job at the local coffee shop on campus just so he could pay for his classes but he could not be happier. He surrounded himself with friends he considers family and left that old past behind.
