Though from the sounds of it there's no lack of fun to be had here. Glad I made it in time for the party." Sylas’s tilted his head and raised his brows in an amused expression. "Lucky for you, parties at camp are rarely dull. The last one ended in a fight and someone nearly died. It’s always pretty entertaining." A small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. "One of the best parts of camp, if you ask me." "You have been so helpful, Sylas. I think I can take it from here. Wouldn't mind some time to get it in and freshen up before the party, but you must let me make it up to you later. I am sure we can find a way I can help you out, should you need it." Her words were sweet and smooth like silk. She had a way with words, even without using Mommy’s powers to persuade him. Sylas would have to be careful around this one. Aphrodite kids could have the world wrapped around their finger if they wanted. His brow rose at the insinuation and his grin grew while his mind briefly imagined what her help could entail. He let his gaze unabashedly look Chariselle up and down. "I’m sure I could think of something," he replied. Sylas slid his hands into his coat pockets and took a step toward the porch stairs. He stopped when he noticed the blonde moving toward him. Between her heels and height, he only had to dip his head minimally to aid Chariselle in placing a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you for sharing and helping a girl out. I am sure I will see you later." He nodded his head and started down the stairs. There was a moment where Sylas considered making a comment about saving him a dance or a drink. But he didn’t need to ask anyone to save time for him. If he wanted to spend time with Chariselle, Evelyn or anyone else, he had a way of demanding someone’s attention. There was no need to appear desperate for her attention, especially when she was probably used to men bowing to her every whim and desire. It was convenient that Sylas’s cabin was just around the bend. Sure, he could have gone back toward the main hall and tried to learn a few more names. But people watching and mingling would be immensely more productive at the party, when everyone was a little more settled and plied with ample amounts of alcohol. He could go for a bite of food, but luckily he wasn’t inept when it came to cooking and his hands were fully healed. So, he could make do with whatever was in his kitchen. He needed to save his social batteries for the evening. Once inside, Sylas took off his coat and slid off his shoes. While he had the time to make a proper meal, he opted for a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee. He took a seat in his favorite armchair that looked out over the snow covered woods. After settling in, he let his mind mull over the new demigods, Chariselle, Evelyn… and whatever mischief he could get up to at the party. It had been awhile since anything interesting happened at camp. He was excited to see what chaos awaited that evening.

[sup] interactions ....|.... chariselle ............... mentions ....|.... evelyn & chariselle ............... collabs ....|.... none [/sup]

[sup] #c7b29b ....|..... outfit .....|..... main hall .....|..... rocco [/sup]

It took less than an hour for Sloane to go from being virtually invisible to having met not one, but two of the new campers already. She was never the approachable person in a group. She had to remind herself she did have a dog and puppy privilege. She never had a dog before, nor had she ever had a pet and walked around in public with it. She was aware it drew a lot of attention, but she never thought that would happen at camp. Although up until that morning, she was surrounded by people she already knew. Some therapist somewhere would be saying this was good. That Rocco was getting her to socialize more or some other shrink bologna. She was lonely, but she was also introverted. Two conversations with two new campers was more than enough to leave her overstimulated. Sloane kicked the toe of her boots against the side of her cabin, knocking off the snow before stepping inside. She found Rocco curled up in a ball in front of her small heater. She smiled, leaning down to pet his head. "Oh, chilly ears." She kissed the tips of his cold ears and placed a small throw blanket over the pup. While he loved the snow, having short hair, he got cold pretty fast. The little corner by the heater was his favorite place to warm up and let the snow melt off of his paws. She coughed but couldn’t be rid of an uncomfortable scratching at the back of her throat. She had done more talking that morning than she had since Liam left. Her throat was actually a bit sore and irritated. That was a first for her. After slipping off her boots, Sloane turned on her electric kettle so the water could boil as she changed. It would be hours before the party, if she even went, so she had no intention of putting on anything other than comfy clothes. By the time the water was up to temp, Sloane was in her favorite sweats and fuzzy socks. She grabbed a mug and a tea bag, then poured the steaming water into the cup. She even added a tablespoon of honey, hoping it would help soothe her sore throat. After placing the mug down on her nightstand, she turned down the bed and climbed in. She just barely managed to get the blanket tucked around her lap before Rocco jumped up and laid down beside her. With a content smile, Sloane wiggled and settled in. She grabbed her book and opened it to her marked page. That was way better than any party.

[sup] interactions ....|.... none ............... mentions ....|.... none ............... collabs ....|.... none [/sup]
