Like sane people," Trinity said with a kiss before entering the main hall. "No promises," he chuckled as he stepped in the door behind her. The smell of every sort of delicious food smacked Wes right in the face, making his stomach growl like a demon wanting to be set free. He puffed out his lips with an exhale as he rubbed his abdomen. "Blondie, you need to start keeping your fridge stocked. I need sustenance to keep up with your appetites," he teased, playfully nipping at her shoulder as he walked past her, beelining for the buffet. Trinity, appalled, could only freeze and bite back scolding him in the middle of the hall for calling out her appetite like she was the lone party in it. She swatted his leg as he nipped her and overtook her heading for his food. Lesson learned. If you’re going to have sex first thing in the morning, eat a bigger dinner… Or have a protein bar under your pillow or something. Just the smell of all the food nearly made his knees buckle. Wes didn’t realize how hungry he really was until that moment. He grabbed a plate and indiscriminately began tossing anything that looked remotely appetizing onto it. "I need more hands," he grumbled to himself. If he still had his bionic arm there would have been a solid possibility of him grabbing even more. By the time he was finished it looked like a less than appealing heap of food. Wes slipped past Daniel as he spoke to Andy and set his plate down on the next closest table. He made his way back over to the buffet area grabbing a big glass of orange juice, pining it between his forearm and abdomen before grabbing an even bigger cup of coffee. Before he looked like a glutton, too late, he made his way back to the table and took a seat. After stacking his fork with as much food as possible, he looked over at Andy whose table was to the right of his as she picked at a plate that nearly rivaled his in size. He smiled at her and air toasted his fork at her before taking a bite. By the time Trinity had finished gathering her food and joined him, Wes had already made a big dent in his food. He had finished the orange juice and the coffee was half gone. He smiled at the love of his life with chipmunk cheeks packed full of an unnecessary amount of food. He chased his bite with a large drink of coffee. As he opened his mouth to say something, another nearby voice caught his attention. "Asked for her number." He raised his brows curiously as he looked over at the adjacent table out of the corner of his eyes then back to Trinity. Trinity hesitated, only very slightly on what feed she wanted for the morning. She plucked some toast, smothered it with butter and jam, egg, bacon and she was set. But coming to join Wes, she raised her brows as an empty glass sat in front of him and his food had been hacked into. She didn’t think she took that long combined with she had no idea she had starved the man. She might’ve had to take stocking her fridge and cupboards up a bit more seriously. Trinity bit into her toast before it got cold. However, like Wes, she heard a rather startling phrase. Trinity slowed chewing and cocked her head. Really? Ok, so Wes was definitely not an eavesdropper. But when it was no secret that Trinity’s best friend and guy—we don’t actually know if they’re a couple or not. Hell they don’t know—were having problems, it’s hard to not listen in on their conversation. "Have they made up?" he asked, whispering quiet enough that only Trinity could hear. He made an awkward facial expression. It wasn’t his place, but if he was in Mason’s shoes he definitely wouldn’t be making jokes about getting another girl’s number. She took the next bite and nodded a couple times. Not as a confirmed yes but that she’d get to his question when her mouth was less full. She swallowed. "Not that I know of." Trinity didn’t expect Andy to keep her in the loop at every breath but if they did make up? His little joke just blew it. Mason was Trinity’s friend not Wes’s, but from what she’s shared with him, Mason wasn’t good at the whole… Emotionally vulnerable thing. Trinity told him about what caused the rift between Andy and Mason, and he can’t blame her for being hurt. He’d never say something like that to Trinity. But three months was a long time to be at odds with your partner. Wes could feel the awkward tension that radiated off the pair as they talked, but he could also sense their love and longing. If they didn’t resolve it soon he doubted that their relationship, or whatever, would recover. He smiled sadly at the blonde across from him, knowing that the happiness of her best friend weighed on her. Trinity ate a little firmer, fork and knife making quick work of any stubborn lengths of bacon with a permanent frown in place. It wasn’t her business in the slightest but Mason got off light with what he said in the hut to Andy. Sure, there was heat of the moment, but never to the girl you pined for and was just trying to look out for you. After Andy dealing with Ajax’s shit, she just wanted him to be better. He needed to be better. Wes didn’t know what to say and remained silent while he ate. Fortunately all his chewing made it easier for him to ignore Andy and Mason’s conversation. While anyone would be curious about what they were saying, he wasn’t a tool. He wasn’t part of that conversation. There was a brief moment where the pair held hands and Wes got optimistic for them. But not long after he felt a shift in the emotional air around them. Andy got up and left coldly, leaving Mason behind with his head resting on his hands. Wes looked toward the door as Andy left and then back to Trinity. "Do you need to go check on her?" he asked while motioning his fork toward the door. He gave her a reassuring smile. "It’s ok. I’ll be fine." He nodded his head in the general direction that Andy probably left in. Trinity watched as Andy got up and tracked her as she left the hall. Her cold gaze flickered to Mason when Andy was out of view. When Wes spoke, she looked at him instead and shot him a sad smile this time. "Yeah, I better." She got up and kissed his head, having to leave behind a half eaten plate. "Love you." "I’ll get it," he reassured her about her plate. Wes smiled up at her as she retreated. "Love you," he replied to her retreating form. He sat in silence for a moment or two, using his fork to push food around on his plate. It wasn’t his place and he knew it. But he was also a son of Aphrodite, love was literally his wheelhouse. It was no secret that Mason was not a fan of his because of his friendship with Alex, regardless if they were friends anymore. Anyone associated with the Valises got a negative mark. If he tried helping he’d probably only be met with hostility, but he knew how important both Mason and Andy were to Trinity. He sighed. Fine. Wes stood up and used his leg to push his chair out of the way. He moved both plates to Mason’s table, putting his own dish in the seat across from the brooding son of Hades. He pulled out the chair and took a seat. He picked back up his fork and started piling up a sizable bite of food. He took a deep breath before finally speaking, "You looked like you could use some help." His tone wasn’t condescending or judgemental. He sounded like a concerned party who genuinely wanted to help and wanted the couple to persevere… Because he did. Wes could feel how much they loved and cared about each other, and while he might not like using his abilities, that didn’t mean he’d sit back and watch love die either. It wouldn’t be right.

[sup] interactions ....|.... trinity & mason ............... mentions ....|.... andy & daniel ............... collabs ....|.... [@xNocturnax] [/sup]
