It really gave meaning to the old adage about poverty descending upon people like a robber. It truly was never far away. Standing on the final building overlooking a small residential neighborhood, he frowned. The rooftops had been excellent for staying away from prying eyes. Glancing down he noticed the amulet glowing towards the houses. A small sigh escaped his lips as he placed a hand atop the fedora as he allowed himself to fall into the shadow beneath his feet. It felt like a rush of weightlessness as he quickly descended through each of the floors before landing softly on asphalt still wrapped in the shadows he tried to gather his thoughts. This Amara had appeared in his presence somehow under the nose of all his spirits without warning. That was bad. She somehow knew his name to be Nigel which caused its own problems as he had slowly begun to feel himself fully becoming one with this current body. Now it felt like there was a bit of separation between Nigel Jamil and The Weeping. Whenever he called upon the spirits instead of becoming one it almost now felt like he was more in the backseat giving directions to an unknown driver. “BE STILL. CALM YOUR WORRIES. FOCUSSSSSS. FIND THE GIRL. KILL DELGATOS!!” Inwardly he frowned. The spirits did not wish for him to be introspective? Curious. Yet they had a point as he left the cold embrace of the shadows and walked down the sidewalk in the morning light. The main focus right now was the girl so they could all have their revenge. He pulled the trenchcoat tight as he slowly made his way to the house that the amulet was focusing upon. He tried to make himself look normal by being busy looking down cradling the amulet with both hands almost like a cellphone causing the couple that had just left the house to not give the walker a second glance as they left. Once he saw them turn off the streeth he sighed. He hesistated as he questions the morals of this situation, murdering those who deserved to die? Sure. Kidnapping a child? He was jolted from his thoughts as his piercing orange eyes locked with a hazel eyed woman. He cursed inwardly as she ran away screaming. Seems his moral dilemma was going to have to go on the backburner for now. The Weeping took a few quick steps to the front door but stopped as he noticed a small engraving on the top corner of the door. His spirits seemed to tell him it was best if he did not touch this. He took a few steps back and looked at the tall oak tree in the yard. The morning sun was causing it to cast a massive shadow. This would work. Vanishing into the shadow of the tree he found himself staring into a medium sized bedroom. The Weeping was quickly realizing this was not going to be as simple as he had originally envisioned. He could see several books on a bookcase as well as one sitting on the bed. The dead were warning him of strange power emanating from the tomes. He glanced at a computer sitting on a desk and half way wondered if his spirits knew how to bypass the need for a password he bet it was going to require. He could sense some confusion from the spirits at this thought and then he shook his head, some of these spirits had been dead for nearly two hundred years. What knowledge would they have of computers? Tossing this idea out and taking a glance around the room he spied a bookbag near the bedroom window. A few quick steps brought him to it and he lifted it unzipping it as he did and quickly rummaged through it. School supplies, folders, a small container of makeup, a chocolate bar, and finally something useful. He held a school ID in his hand. Quickly tearing open the chocolate bar and shoving the entire thing into his mouth he smiled. Somehow sweets didn't taste like ash. With the priority taken care of he focused his attention on the ID.
