As a result, Vivian is difficult to pin down for more than a few minutes at a time, always moving to research something new or strike out in a different direction. This also results in her having difficulty making notable friends, as she tends to move at a pace that leaves most people behind. She is, however, unapologetic of this fact, seeing as she despises having to ‘slow down’. In addition to this, Vivian is not an individual who enjoys battling, seeing it as an annoying roadblock at best and a risk to the surroundings at worst. [b]Trainer Class:[/b] Aspiring Archeologist [b]Hometown:[/b] Celestic Town, Sinnoh [b]Background:[/b] For most of her life, Vivian’s life was built around a fascination for archeology and ancient history. Born in Celestic Town, she had easy access to the town’s history, and more importantly, an understanding of her duty to help preserve said history about her home region. Some kids would find such a task boring, but for Vivian, it was a fascinating subject that she grew to adore, and with time, expanded beyond the sphere of her village. Of course, she had other interests, such as tuning into Pokemon Contests and League battles, but her focus was always on the historical aspects. The history of Pokemon Contests throughout the years, the importance of certain locations like the Ruins of Alph or Burned Tower, these were things that Vivian grew enamoured with. Of course, with so much history already being uncovered, the growing desire to discover ancient secrets for herself seemed like a farfetched idea… At least until she learned of the Evig region and the potential of lost history residing there. Immediately, she set her boundless energy on that one singular goal: Making her way to the Evig region in order to start a journey that would make it into the history books based on her findings. Despite her… Oddities, she was surprisingly accepted into the fold of Professor Kapoc’s chosen. Only to arrive far later than she should have thanks to accidentally taking the wrong plane. [b]Kind of Pokémon you like:[/b] Pokemon that have rich history, or anything that can help curb her… Inability to function. Examples would be - Aron - Larvesta - Furret - Wooper - Ghost/Rock/Steel/Ground type mons [b]Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: [/b] - Natural Tomb Raider: It’s no surprise that Vivian has a lot of respect for ruins and artifacts. However, she showcases this respect by -wanting to take them for herself in order to store them somewhere nice and safe, away from the cold harsh world that would try to break them. - Hopeless with schedules and directions: Vivian is incapable of following a schedule, and even more hopeless at reading a map. She’ll sleep in, forget about events, or have terrible misfortune befall her that prevents her from making it to anything on time, and could easily end up several towns over if trusted to walk a few blocks, even with accurate, foolproof directions. - Overly dramatic: Hardly a surprise, but Vivian has a penchant for being excessive with her movement and manners, largely thanks to her small interest in various movies.
