However, their rescuers had brought up a good point. Where were they going afterwards? What was their plan of action once they were out of the city? Lex hadn't known. Her home in New York was within the city limits; returning was impossible if they were planning on blowing the bridges and tunnels into Manhattan. She didn't have anyone nearby, either—her family all residing either in Chicago or across the sea in Europe. "I'm not from here, despite appearances. All I know is the city itself." Lex responded, nodding in agreement with Billie. "So if this cabin is far enough away from Manhattan, then I think we should try it. If you don't mind, I mean." She turned her head to listen to the other woman. For some reason, June had wanted to visit her car, but hadn't exactly said a reason as to why. Had there been some supplies in her vehicle? Or was it something else? Making too many stops could be dangerous. Aside from the threat of having their faces munched off, they were also on a time crunch to get out of the city. "We have less than two hours to get out of the city. The streets are probably going to get worse than they already are the longer we wait." Lex explained to June. "I don't want to sound rude, but we can't afford to make too many stops if we want to get out on time."
Kali Nordstrom
Location: New York Streets Skills: N/A

Kali was thankful that Isaac was okay, as she had hoped. She had seen what happened to her co-worker, Jeff, and she didn't want to see it happen again to someone she knew. As the vehicle made its way down the city streets, talk of a plan of action began to formulate. One spoke of a cabin. Another spoke of a car. Kali wasn't certain on what to do herself; she hadn't exactly prepared an evacuation plan in case of "flesh-eating monsters". But when faced with being stuck in a city with them versus a cabin or somewhere else with a bunch of (mostly) strangers, the latter seemed more favorable, and so she found herself in agreement with those interested in taking up Gus on his offer. "I think we should stay at the cabin," Kali spoke up, looking around the MRAP at their motley collection of survivors. "At least until we can find out more about what's happening. We don't know what's out there yet." She then glanced at the few bags of supplies that Isaac and the officer had brought back with them, and then to the security guard and Billie. As helpful as the supplies they had were, it wasn't going to be much in the long run. The visit to the museum had turned a three into an eleven, and even though there was strength in numbers, vending machine snacks and a few cans of foods were bound to not last long with this many people even with extreme rationing. "Either way, we're going to need more supplies. Gummy worms can only get us so far; we probably have only a few days at most between all of us. Are there any stores on the way to your cabin? Or what about her car? We could stop and see if there is anything worthwhile."
