Canis-V spoke with the Security Personnel about Eta, but had been told to wait. On it's way into the building Canis-V's sensor suite picked up a hazard warning for broken glass in the building. It approached the hazard and ran an scan with it's sensor suite, picking up patterns in the broken glass and dirt on the floor that form a boot print. Canis-V recorded it's visual data and set a subroutine to measure out the exact shape and size of the boot print as it moved on. Approximately one point six eight meters away a smear of blood ran from the base of the Skylight, further into the building. Not enough to indicate a direction, but enough to indicate that whoever had been hurt here was hurt after breaking into the building, not before. As it was beginning to run the blood splatter through a different subroutine it noticed damage to the adjacent western facing wall. As it approached it's scan indicated debris lodged in the mortar between bricks. Canis-V leaned it's head over the broken bit of brick wall and a Sensory suite scan later, it indicated an arrow-shaft lodged into the wall. The angle would indicate it came from the same direction as skylight that had been shattered inward. The angle also indicated that it had to have been loosed from inside the building, not outside. So, the arrow had not been used to break in. Yet another subroutine was spun off to analyze the evidence it had scanned from what was obviously turning out to be a crime scene. It continued to scan the environment, but nothing new had been uncovered in the minute or so it took Canis-V to coalesce the information into a dossier fit for any court room, along with comprehensive notes on the math behind how it got it's results. The final scenario came together as Canis-V took a fraction of a second to review it's work. The boot was a combat model that Canis-V could pinpoint the company of make, but it was fairly popular with mercenaries and private security so, no chance of ID from purchase tracking. At least not without it's cyber warfare module. It's length and width matched a combat boot in the company's female section, a perfect match for a size seven women's. Unfortunately, there was only the one boot print, or Canis-V could get a possible height and weight. As it was, the intruder could have been any height. The blood spatter came back with results that were unsurprising. Whoever had broken in here had gotten into a fight with someone else. The arrow in the adjacent wall indicated that whoever had broken in had used a bow of some fashion and was either a terrible shot, or had been in active combat. Evidence was pointing to the later. Once it's analysis was done it walked back out to the front to talk with the security personnel. "Hello, was there any passdown of an altercation last night? was one of our personnel hurt?" The man who Canis-V had Just silently walked up to almost jumped out of his skin as a six foot tall robot seemingly appeared right next to him. "Fucking christ, where did you come from? How the hell are you so quiet?" "I do not need to breathe or have bodily functions, I was inside the warehouse, and was there any passdown of an altercation with one of our personnel last night?" The man sighs and runs a hand across his face. "No, nobody was hurt last night." Canis-V thought about it's answer for a moment before replying, "Unfortunate. Thank you, and have a good day." The security personnel's face scrunched up in confusion as Canis-V walked back into the building to wait for it's assessment to begin. It would forward the Dossier to Mr. Wolfe when he got there. It was troubling that there was no altercation with security personnel last night because that would mean there wasn't one break in last night, there were two.
