Tock. Sully Price's focus was zeroed in on the classroom clock, his hazel eyes staring a hole into it. Hurry up, hurry up, hurry up! Despite his mental pleading, time was still refusing to pick up the pace. Which meant he was still stuck with Professor Hyde yammering on about the class syllabus. Not that he was listening, as Sully had turned his brain off half an hour ago. However, seeing nothing else to do, he tuned back into whatever the professor was droning on about... "We're going to have a lot of fun this year, but we're also going to put in some work," He explained, pushing up his glasses. "My grading method is fair, but firm. As long as you're putting the effort in, I'm more than happy to..." ...Before tuning back out. All around him, classmates hung on the Professor's every word, jotting down his speech like there would be a quiz at the end of class. Imagine that, a quiz on the first day. Sully was considering taking a second 'bathroom break' to run the clock out when the shrill bell that signaled the end of class graced his ears like sweet music. Like a lion in range of its prey, he sprung up and out of his seat, grabbing a packet of paper on his desk and unceremoniously stuffing it into the darkest recesses of his backpack before speed-walking out of the room and into the hallway. All around him, like-minded students burst out of classrooms, steadily increasing the foot traffic and chatter in the school. Picking up his pace before the halls got too crowded to move, a gaggle of conversating students was side-stepped and another nearly collided into as Sully broke out into a full-on jog to the end of the hall, where a pair of double doors returned him to the outside world. Dyna City was a real beauty, when it wanted to be. While some locations had to deal with smog blotting the blue sky, others had it on full display, the heat of the sun lighting you up not too hot, but just right. Free from the prison that was academia, the newly energized Sully's gears began to grind. Class was officially over, which meant it was time for some fun. A small flight of stairs was taken two steps at a time before Sully leapt from the third to last step and sauntered over to the bike rack where he had parked his dirt bike. His yellow BSR Raven was dutifully waiting for him, practically begging him to whisk the two of them through the streets for an after-school joyride. And Sully was about to give them both what they wanted, when he paused. Glancing at his watch, he let off a groan. In about 20 minutes, he was supposed to meet his dorm's Resident Advisor. Which sounded important and something he shouldn't arrive late for. But then again, why waste this good weather and spend even more time inside? Sully looked to his bike, then towards the direction of the student dorms. Then his bike again. Then the dorms. The answer was obvious. ... "Whoooooo-hooooo!" Sully, now wearing a yellow helmet and riding his dirt bike, howled into the wind as he rode through the streets. After taking a sharp turn, he slowed down and entered a parking lot, coming to a stop in one of the spots. Stepping off his bike, he could already tell that he was feeling 100% better than he did 20 minutes ago. But as he put his helmet back into his bag and checked his watch, he would soon learn of the error in his statement. Because instead of spending 20 minutes on the road, his calculation was off by another 15 minutes. The corner of Sully's mouth twitched before returning to normal. Shrugging nonchalantly, he began his trek from the parking lot to his dormitory. Ah, so what? 15 minutes isn't an eternity. Especially for a meeting with some Resident Advisor.
