Plus, he just seems to be apathetic to alot of higher redtape and drama. Loyalty escapes him, as in he would love to have a group of friends it's just his delinquency and attitude about it stop that. He has his morality and good nature still. But he is young, and tempted easily.

Made due being found between the lines of Ark society chasing dreams and schemes. The stories of outlwas and historical rebellion are the only books he's read. But, he knows the merits of a strong social circle, of how things might aught to be if they were different. Change does not scare him, complacency does. Being essentially disowned by his mother for his actions has shaped his life and actions. The quasi-support he gets from his siblings, and the lack thereof from his dad, also play a key role.
