Salvator raised his sawed-off, but King beat him to the punch, and he quickly shifted his vision to the side to avoid the worst of the flash, looking straight back right after. The voidhanger weighed his options as his kinswoman fired on the abomination. Intercepting with CQC was a last resort: he'd already be putting himself in the line of fire of the others. Ethereal countermeasures were likely a Very Bad Idea, considering how it would light their position up like a beacon to void horrors. Weight of fire it was.
