Raja’s Noble Arm type is a hybrid of melee and ranged. His main capability revolves around summoning and manipulating ki-energy, making earth and fire the elements he’s themed on. Also due to his capabilities, Raja can cover all ranges. He’s an ideal close-ranged combatant, and depends on the amount of ki-energy he channels, the range that his projectiles can cover varies from mid to lengthy.

[*] [b]Ergokinesis[/b] – Raja is capable of summoning and manipulating ki-energy into powerful attacks. He can throw fire-laced punches and kicks, as well as firing a projectile capable of traveling a city block with a clap of his hands.
[*] [b]Enhanced Strength[/b] – When Raja pummels the ground with all his energy, he can cause a small quake that can leave his adversaries unsteady. He can also lift an object as heavy as a boulder, as well as punching through a hard metal once powered by ki-energy.

As clear as crystal, he can even see anything from miles away. His keen senses make him suitable for tracking purposes.

At first glance, Raja might look intimidating due to his towering height and enormous figure, but in reality, he’s a gentle giant who cares for the people he respects and/or holds the closest to his heart. Raja rarely talks, preferring spending more time in solitude as dealing with a crowd full of people can gradually exhaust him. Blunt yet honest, he can often be mistaken for being unfriendly, refusing to tone down his words as long as he’s being truthful.

Raja is impatient and easy to anger—even the smallest of problems could fuel his fury—but as he grows older and wiser, he starts to learn to manage his emotions properly. Due to his ambitious and determined nature, he often finds himself pushing past his limits, often resulting to unforgiving physical exertions that not even an average Noble Arm could logically endure. He never shies away from giving others a helping hand, but can often be stingy when it comes to sharing his belongings, most notably food and money. Unless it’s close acquaintances or somebody who’s proven to be in dire need, he wouldn’t easily share anything in his possesions. This stingy trait is also applied when it comes to buying everyday needs. Raja tends to settle for cheaper products with somewhat tolerable qualities rather than having to spend more money for better products, even if he only has to spend a thousand more Rupiahs.

Raja was born to a warrior tribe residing in a secluded Sumatran island where each and every tribesman was gifted with energy-based Noble Arm. Ever since he was a little boy, Raja had been taught to hunt and survive in the woods by the older tribesmen, constructing the ability to communicate and empathize with animals as well as utilizing blades for hunting purposes. At the age of 13, his father introduced him to the world of martial arts, teaching him various fighting styles such as silat and kickboxing. He didn’t make his fighting debut until after he turned 15. While initially struggling, his physical advantage eventually carried him throughout his early days, helping him win fights after fights against fellow young tribesmen. By the time he turned 17, Raja was taught how to control and utilize his Noble Arm, eventually developing a technique he named “Taring Besi”—or “Iron Fang” in English—where he formed a powerful blast by smacking his palms together.

By the time he completed his training, Raja was already close to turning 20. Having challenged every fighter in the island, the young Raja decided to travel the nation in hopes of finding more opponents and competitions to partake in. Thanks to his enormous frame and the Noble Arm in his possession, he managed to dominate the underground cage-fighting scene throughout his early 20s, often leaving his opponents bloodied and critically injured after their matches. His ferocious fighting style earned him the nickname “Harimau Sumatra”—or “The Sumatran Tiger” in English—as they compared the way he mauled his opponents to that of a tiger and its prey. Aside from competing in unauthorized competitions, Raja also made a living through circus performances where he acted as the knife-thrower and the beast-tamer. His ability to communicate with animals helped him tame beasts such as lions, tigers, and bears. 

Eventually, Raja’s reputation within the underground cage-fighting scene attracted the attention of several big promotions. By the time he reached his mid-20s, Raja made his professional debut, traveling the globe and competing for different promotions as the sole representative of Indonesia. Although he was forced to nerf his strength, he still managed to mesmerize the attendants with strong performances, subsequently capturing the title of world heavyweight champion after years of undefeated streak. Now at the top of his career, he proudly brought the title back to his hometown in Sumatra, intending to celebrate the milestone with his fellow tribesmen.

Unfortunately, things had taken an unexpected turn once Raja went back to the island. By the time he arrived, the island had already been seized and ruled by the PRC. All of the tribesmen were employed as either their forced labours or the officers serving for their military forces. To make things worse, he soon learned that his people weren’t paid well. Most were starving to death and treated like slaves, while the PRC claimed the majority of the island’s natural resources all by themselves. In solidarity, Raja eventually donated all of his belongings to his people, including the prize money he earned from the competitions, but even then, it wasn’t enough to help them survive much longer. Furious by how the PRC took advantage of his people, Raja then plotted to rebel against the tyrant with his fellow tribesmen. However, before the plan ever came to fruition, a local had snitched to the PRC regarding what they were up to. Surely, the PRC was furious.

Just a day after their plan had been leaked, a slaughter took place. Thousands of rioting tribesmen lost their lives that day in their efforts to rid the PRC of their island. Raja and his comrades attempted to retaliate, but it was to no avail. They were outnumbered, their Noble Arms neutralized through the smoke generators deployed across the island. Due to the severity of the assault, Raja lost one of his eyes after getting wounded by a PRC soldier. Eventually, Raja and his comrades were brought to the nearby military camp where they were weakened and tortured by the guarding officers. At this state, Raja was helpless, immobilized and unable to fight back as he was forced to witness his comrades and family members either brutalized or, worse, eradicated at the spot. After all was done and said, they imprisoned Raja and the surviving tribesmen, holding them captive at their base for as long as they pleased.

Thankfully, it didn’t take long until the slaughter caught the attention of a certain organization. Just months after, the Hammer of Masters made their way to the island, breaching through the PRC’s base. They singlehandedly eradicated every military personnel, taking all the prisoners with them, including Raja. Unfortunately, little did they know, something even worse had already awaited. In the following years, Raja and the remaining tribesmen were forced to work for the Hammer of Masters as their troops, unwillingly participating in their heinous deeds. Initially, the organization promised them to help take revenge on the PRC, yet whenever the chances were present, nothing ever happened. Just empty promises after empty promises, yet despite his frustration, Raja knew he couldn’t revolt—or else, one of his tribesmen would be threatened to death.

Fortunately, Raja and his tribesmen managed to escape the organization after the “Big Three” defeated and weakened the Hammer of Masters. They were soon separated with Raja spending the next couple of years living in the wilderness, leading a pride of lions and an ambush of tigers to survive nature. Eventually, he was discovered by a member of TFO who was guarding nearby the forest. Haunted by guilt, Raja decided to surrender, admitting his involvements with the Hammer of Masters. He was then sentenced to imprisonment and rehabilitation, but not before offering his service to the TFO as a means of redeeming his past sins. 

In 2022, Raja finally served the TFO as their latest officer, vowing to avenge his people
and rid ASEAN of the influence of PRC and Hammer of Masters.
