As the young woman picked up the key, he smiled ever so slightly at the one piece of good luck to come out of this nightmare so far. [color=6b8e23]“Right behind ya, ma’am.”[/color] He said, before turning back the way they came, keeping half an eye on the door at the end of the hall, just in case. Firing a gun in an enclosed space wasn’t exactly quiet after all, and he had no way of knowing whether more of those freaks would come looking. [color=6b8e23]“I don’t believe I caught yer name, ma’am. Mine’s Michael.”[/color] He said as they moved, not taking his attention off the rear, just in case. Still, he figured that some introduction was warranted, given she’d just saved his life. He followed behind her at a fast walking pace, looking behind every so often to ensure that those things weren’t behind them, at least not yet.
