FIONA CHEVALIER

Looks: Fiona has the youthful girl next door looks fitting for a babyface competitor, with just a bit of edge to her appearance to go along with it. She has bright blue eyes, shoulder-length raven hair, a pale complexion with a smattering of freckles, and doesn't go heavy on the makeup. She has a bit of a tomboy aesthetic to her, favoring hats, leather jackets and hoodies, jeans and studded belts, and either sneakers or boots. Build: While in excellent shape and strong for any woman of her size, Fiona's lacking in muscle compared to many of her older and more powerful competitors. She made gains over her first year, but recent months have seen her strength plateauing, as she focuses on simply maintaining her build.
RING ATTIRE:
Ring Attire for her match against Shin Choon-hee, August 1st, 2025 Ring Attire for her extreme rules match against Tanya Redd, August 15th, 2025 Ring Attire for her triple threat match against Elina and Raven, August 22nd, 2025
RING NAME(S): Fiona Chevalier THEME TRACK: High Hopes PROFESSIONAL DEBUT: January 8th, 2024 AGE: 21 Y/O (April 7th Birthday) ROLE: Face MANAGER: - ALLIES:
Kendra Snipes
Fiona and Kendra met by facing off in the ring early in their rookie years, a fight Fiona won handily, but they showed each other respect and became fast friends afterwards. They've helped each other improve in the year and change since then, and became an official tag team called the Defiant Dream in the fall of '24. While they didn't find much success in the final months of NMWW, Fiona and Kendra remain friends and allies as they try to make their mark on the new brand.
Keysha Wayne
Calling Keysha an ally might be a bit premature, but after over a year of open rivalry, Fiona and Keysha seem to have come to some kind of an understanding. It was never personal between the two of them, and they both hate the Beatifics far more than they dislike each other. Though she doesn't fully trust Keysha yet, Fiona is willing to give her a chance, knowing she needs any allies she can find if she wants to have a chance against the Beatifics. Right now her rivals have her outgunned, but a friend like Keysha could be just the firepower Fiona needs. If she is actually a friend, of course.

RIVALS:
Abby Beatific
Abby handed Fiona her first professional defeat, and has been her nemesis ever since, both in and out of the ring. Getting payback on her in a no-DQ match months later only cemented Abby's mission to ruin Fiona's hopes whenever she gets the chance. Since that match, Abby has gained the clear upper hand in the rivalry by harassing her backstage or ringside, or by defeating her in the ring, as she did to end Defiant Dream's hopes in NMWW tag competition. She's stronger, more experienced, and more cunning than Fiona, and can easily get in her head to frustrate and fluster her.
Aubrey Beatific
Abby's twin sister is just as much an enemy of Fiona's, but they haven't had as many opportunities to face off in the ring, and of the two of them Fiona can't help but see Abby as the leader and the more dangerous one. That's not to say Fiona takes Aubrey lightly, as she knows she's just as experienced and venomous as her sister.
Ash Weathers
Ash was Fiona's debut opponent, a fellow rookie with a promising career ahead of her. Fiona upset her in her hometown in a match that probably should've gone to Ash, had she not gotten overconfident. It's been all animosity between the two of them since then, their clashing styles and ideologies making them natural enemies. Their battle for the chance to compete at Summerslaught 2024 was grueling, but again Fiona emerged victorious. With both off to hot starts in the new NMW brand, Fiona knows Ash will be gunning for her specifically. She has to be ready to push herself to the absolute limit any time she and Ash are in the ring together.
Tanya Redd
After suffering two tough losses the previous year to start her rivalry against Tanya, Fiona finally got a big first win, on the biggest stage, in an extreme rules match with a chance at the title on the line. The match was a huge moment of growth for Fiona, as she didn't let the more physically impressive Tanya intimidate her, and when it came down to the wire, Fiona was able to show how much more resilient she'd become since their last fight. It won't be the last time she has to battle Tanya, but Fiona has proven to be every bit her equal in the ring.
Shin Choon-hee
Shin and Fiona have fought three singles matches against one another now, with only one that wasn't marred by outside interference in some way. That was their first fight, a one-sided domination for Shin that saw Fiona embarrassed in her hometown. They shared rookie seasons in NMWW and are often compared, making their matches against one another highly vicious, especially given their opposing face and heel personas and their matching high-risk, offense-heavy styles. Fiona needs to find a cleaner win against Shin somehow to fully change the narrative of their rivalry in her favor.
Elina Zamora
Elina handed Fiona her first NMW defeat, but the unpleasantness between the two of them didn't stop them from trying to work together to defeat Raven Veyn in the Rubicon Gauntlet semifinals. It was purely an alliance of convenience, however; Fiona has no delusions about making an ally out of Elina, and knows she'll likely be someone she has to defeat if she wants a title someday. For now, Elina is a clear step above Fiona in popularity as well as skill in the ring. She'll need to keep improving if she wants to become a true rival to her.
Raven Veyn
The current NMW Women's champion doesn't consider Fiona to be a threat or a rival, a fact Fiona can't currently argue with. She fought two-on-one to a standstill against Fiona and Elina, and after Elina escaped the steel cage, Raven quickly disposed of Fiona. She represents the ultimate challenge to Fiona, an opponent she can only dream of defeating at the moment.

HEIGHT: 5'5" (165.1 cm) WEIGHT: 119 lbs (53.9 kg) FROM: Seattle, Washington SOCIAL MEDIA USERNAME: @FionaChevs - - BACKGROUND: Fiona grew up with a gymnastics background, the root of her acrobatic style in the ring. When she discovered professional wrestling as an early teen, it was only a matter of time before it overtook her interest in gymnastics, inspired by the likes of AJ Lee, Paige, and later Iyo Sky. After talking her parents (a pair of former Olympic decathletes) into it, they agreed to put their only child into a wrestling school after she graduated high school. Fiona was very fortunate to begin her career, getting the attention of a talent scout for No Mercy Women's Wrestling just a few weeks before she was slated to make her indie debut, still nineteen years of age. Winning over management at her tryout, she was thrown right into the mix at NMWW, making her debut in Denver where she pulled off the upset against the local favorite, Ash Weathers. Her remarkable rookie year finished with a record of ten wins and six losses, her relatable persona, looks, and youthful energy helping her stand out from the rest of the rather antagonistic No Mercy Women's roster. Her partnership with Kendra Snipes, her best friend on the roster, carried the two of them into tag team competition as "The Defiant Dream," attempting to stand tall against the many rivals they'd earned in their first months as wrestlers. Despite Kendra's improving performance and an excellent showing at an exhibition in Japan, their tag run ended in disaster when Fiona accidentally injured Kendra during a match against the Beatifics, shortly before getting pinned for the loss. The new No Mercy Wrestling was still happy to sign Fiona, believing in the potential she clearly has and finding a need for a likable, down-to-earth face on the women's roster. Her fanbase can't match the likes of established champions and veterans with a decade of experience, but Fiona has built a loyal following, and several tense rivalries already in place for NMW to exploit. Her first month with NMW featured a pair of singles matches where she was able to establish herself as an up-and-coming talent whose performances resonated with fans regardless of the result. Her popularity with fans was proven when they voted her as the #8 seed for August's Rubicon Gauntlet tournament to determine NMW's first women's champion. Fiona vastly exceeded expectations in the tournament, first with a surprising win over her rival Shin Choon-hee, and then a dramatic extreme rules victory over Tanya Redd, landing her in the semifinal steel cage match against Elina Zamora and Raven Veyn. While her Cinderella run through the tournament came to an end inside the steel cage, Fiona's success in August won her a ton of new fans, and opened the door to a host of new opportunities and challenges. - - WRESTLING STYLE: Win or lose, Fiona always gives everything to put on a great show for the fans. Her wrestling style is high-energy, acrobatic, and fast-paced, at her best when the match is moving quickly. Her offense is graceful, creative, stylish, and even powerful when she can build momentum, and her high-risk aerial maneuvers she uses to try to seal victories are gorgeous to watch and devastating to get hit by. Even her submissions lean towards the acrobatic side. She pushes asides any fears she has in the ring for the sake of her fans, using their energy as an extra reserve of stamina. Her training and the higher level of competition in NMWW have seen Fiona make great gains in several areas. Her offense has grown more versatile, and she's showing greater resilience, able to survive swings in momentum throughout long matches and keep fighting, even in extreme rules fights. She still has several major weaknesses to account for. Fiona's reliant on her speed for both offense and defense, lacking in the build and raw power required to go blow-for-blow with stronger opponents. Slowing her by either leaving her breathless or immobilizing her some other way will force her to rely on her poor guarding skills, making her extremely vulnerable. Matches can and have snowballed against her before from this. She is also an emotional wrestler, fueled by the crowd's energy but also susceptible to taunts and manipulation from clever opponents. Her commitment to wrestling cleanly can also be exploited by anyone willing to fight dirty against her.
