I'd assume that the manor is open to accept visitors during the day, so we can hand-wave Piero getting there.

Elanora DiVacce is a Medician aristocrat- not a noble, but heiress to a prominent shipping company. She's a well-known socialite in the colonies, and often holds lavish parties when prominent figures come to Free Sail.
