In the meantime, I would be glad to help Harry and your group to the best of my abilities.” Kim said, taking off his glasses so he could clean them with a handkerchief. At the very least, he assumed Harry would be able to inform him about why they are here. Of course, if he were still suffering from his famous amnesia episode, then he wouldn’t learn anything from him. Kim then put his glasses back on and the handkerchief back into his pocket. Kim noticed Terry extending his hand, and he shook it. With Harry following suit. “Pleasure to meet you Terry.” Kim wasn’t sure whom Terry was reminded of. He didn’t think there was someone like him who shared Terry’s fighting spirit. Harry followed Azuma, hanging onto his every word while Kim followed beside them. The sounds of the tournament made Harry quite excited. He wanted to join the tournament to test his strength. Kim didn’t seem concerned about joining a tournament. He was not a particularly skilled fighter. But he knew Harry would be included, so he might have to join just to protect his partner. “The Mortal Kombat tournament is quite dangerous, more so than the other tournaments. I would not recommend joining it.” Kim added, having seen what happened to the fighters in the Mortal Kombat Tournament. He looked over at Harry, whom he assumed would love to join such a brutal tournament. Harry looked at the different dojos that one could go into to hone their fighting skills. There was one dojo that caught his eye. An old and dirty-looking wooden sign with the words “Saikyo Ultimate Style.” Thinking that the name sounded really bad ass. And it would help sway him to join. He, along with Kim, walked into the dojo. Kim had already joined the Kyanta Dojo, but he wanted to escort Harry in case he caused some sort of trouble. The inside of the dojo was quite rundown and looked filthy. And there were a few people inside. A man wearing a pink gi, whom Kim assumed was the owner of the dojo, was in the middle of a lesson. The man stopped his lesson when he noticed the two men stepping into the dojo. Immediately, he ran over towards them, excited that he would be able to get more students. “Hello, are you here to sign up?” The man, on closer look, was in his early 30s and was sporting a very unflattering ponytail. Harry nodded, becoming excited to join the dojo. “Yeah, so what exactly is Saikyo style?” Harry asked as he noticed the students coming towards him. Harry was informed about what Saikyo was all about. Harry was excited when Dan mentioned that he could shoot a fireball. This would be something he would love to do one day. Before he could sign up, he was introduced to the other students. “Hello, I’m Harry Dubois. Nice to meet you all.” Harry said with a strange looking smile. “Hello, my name is Norimaro, it’s a pleasure to meet you Harry-san.” A nerdy-looking middle-aged man, wearing a high school uniform, said, bowing to Harry. “Hi, I’m Roll. Nice to meet you.” A petite blonde girl said, shaking hands with the detective. But wiped it on her dress, which was wet from sweat. “Yo, nice to meet ya, Name’s Hyena.” A flashy-looking man with blonde hair and a red nose said, shaking Harry’s hand. A small cat with huge eyes came over, shaking Harry’s hand with a huge fish. “Ne-nyan to meet you Hawwy. I’m Neco-Arc.” “And I’m Dan Hibiki, but you can call me Sensei Dan.” Dan said, shaking Harry’s hand. None of them were people who would excel at fighting. And Kim could see why this particular dojo was picked for people wanting to learn how to fight. But Harry was happy to join this specific dojo. And after signing up, he asked Sensei Dan how to join the Tekken tournament. “Ah, so you wanna join that tourney, eh? Well, there are a lot of tough competitors there. I’m gonna have to teach you as much as I can to prepare you. But it’s gonna be tough, Saikyo ain’t easy to learn. I hope you're ready for the training.” Dan said this, but Harry dismissed it, as he was more than ready to hone his skills. He didn’t want to be seen as a burden to his fellow seekers. Dan turned to Kim, who stood stone-faced. “Since your friend joined, I assumed you wanna join as well?” The man said with a big grin on his face. But Kim shook his head. “No, sorry, I had joined another dojo, but thank you for the offer.” Kim said, trying to be as polite as possible. And with that, they left the dojo with Harry and Kim heading to a local general store to buy some supplies.
