The dinosaur had been decidedly downed, and the dragon determinedly chose not to deactivate his crackling blue energy beam, its length shortening as he angrily stomped forward, tail lashing at the glass-strewn ground as he approached the multi-colored console fire, primal instinct driving him to ensure his lizard foe was thoroughly dead. An acoustic symphony of glass being scraped and clinked across the floor by the abomination’s impulsive tail lashes, crushed underfoot by his dramatic shift into a vindictive march, flames rising as cardboard, plastic, and silicon melted into a toxic bonfire concoction of foul smelling scents, the stench of which only served to agitate the beast all the more. Reaching his destination in only seconds, Alucroas shut off the beam, observing the towering inferno steadily collapse and sink into itself, forming only the briefest of tombs, as the beast had zero intention of letting Grimlock rest in peace. Preparing to pounce, he could hear the sounds of other creatures breaking free of their glass containment cupboards, a ferocious, head-swinging snarl being his only response to the impending mayhem before lowering into a charge. Showing no regard for his own safety, the dragon shoved his horns beneath the flat underside of the fused mass, bonetips heating up as he forcibly raised the small mountain up like a lid. Cast in the still-glowing red of the blaring alarms, Alucroas resembled a demon uprooting a mound of conflagrated brimstone, water from an unknown aperture rushing passed his legs, colliding with the structure that now functioned as a bulwark against the extinguishing flood, rising steam enveloping him as he used his forelimbs to shove the structure off his horns. Although inconvenient, the flood ultimately did not scare the abomination who was well at home in the water, his quasi-cybernetic make-up rendering him immune to the potential hazards of not being able to breathe. His organs were fake after all, he was fueled by an internally locked-in flow of battery acid that required no external source to sustain energy, and his wings and tail could function as substitute fins and rudders if he needed to move quickly despite being submerged. Before his mouth and nose disappeared beneath the waves, Alucroas felt a reassuring wave of calming energy flood his senses, using that emotional support to direct his next sequence of actions. Thrusting his double-jaws and tail at a precise angle, the former bit down on Grimlock’s barely recognizable corpse, right where his clavicle and upper-chest was, the latter going straight through his waist, claws digging in deeper as he strained against the rising tide. Releasing his grip on the floor, the dragon went fully under, steam dissipating, superheated h20 bubbles fizzling out as he and the island mass went downstream, its flat base serving as a stable floater as it drifted from one part of the electronics to another, hanging on tightly to its underside. Screeching underwater, wings flapping in futility as he tried to steer himself, he heard a sudden, muffled shatter as another glass case was crashed through, this time by the island itself its sturdier fragments snagging the floating chunk of plastic in place, whilst the sudden torque combined with the beast’s grip on his enemy nearly pulled the Grimlock free. Swiveling his head around, and grabbing on with all his might, Alucroas repeatedly kicked and pushed off the island, forcing the structure to bend and crack, his attacks producing more and more progress as the cracks became fissures, then broke off into floating splinters. Rasping out his last strike, the beast violently retracted his double-jaws, his skull into the island and fragmenting it completely, hanging onto Grimlock as the two moved downstream. Thrown into chaos yet again, and spinning wildly from his sudden dislodging, the dragon’s rapidly sinking form went abuzz with lightning, heating his surroundings to a boil as he gradually drifted back toward a metal shelf via magnetic attraction, slamming into it backfirst. His impact with the shelf forced his head and tail in opposite directions, ripping Grimlock in half and exposing his spark core. Sensing the energy within, Alucroas seized the chest segment with his left forelimbs, hanging on with his fore and rear left hind limbs, hugging the dino’s torso to his face where he ravenously chewed and crunched, feeding on positron energy that dwelt within. Alucroas’ body surged with more than just electromagnetic energy now. It overflowed with something far richer, more eldritch, and as he pulled himself out of the water and onto a counter-top, he flung Grimlock’s now useless parts somewhere he didn’t care to look off to. Now, he heard a voice, one he could process and understand clearly as a potential ally thanks to its partner’s calming influence, and proceeded off in the duo’s direction, leaping off the shelf and using his wings in combination with magnetic attraction to glide and pull himself from shelf-top to shelf-top, rapidly closing the distance.
