Basil knew he gave it away that he knew about Stella, the expression even for a split second said all that it needed to say. His eyes shifted to his side to see that she was gone. 

[i][color=8493ca]She must've ran the moment she laid eyes on him.[/color][/i] Basil thought to himself. He would've sighed with relief, but the fact is she must've been still somewhat close by. They were not out of the woods just yet.

How did they find her so quickly? Actually, that was the wrong question. Were there people located all over the region looking for Stella? What exactly did they do to her that made her so valuable to them. Who were they and was this boy affiliated with them? It was fair to guess he was in some capacity because Stella bolted as if she knew him. The only thing that he knew was that Stella was afraid of them. If they were her enemies by extension then they were his enemies as well. After all, he could not forgive them for what they had done to her. That familiar feeling of magma boiled deep inside again.
