Valerian did not have time to react to the first Mimikyu. A second Mimikyu jumped onto his face. For the third time today, Valerian screamed. His voice was muffled underneath the haunted fabric. [color=pink]“Unhand this instant! I’m royalty!”[/color] He stumbled around trying to get the thing off. Knocking over a display of Pokeballs in the process. 

Aurelia Rose and Camellia did nothing to help. They stood there (or hovered in Aurelia Rose’s case) giggling like giddy schoolgirls as they watched the drama unfold.

Finally, Valerian managed to pry the Ghost/Fairy off of his face, and held it at arm’s length. He panted, and his hair got fluffed up in the scuffle. [color=pink]“You are adorable, and I am an advocate for Fairy types, so I won’t hold this against you. But if you wish to haunt me, then do it properly. As my partner.”[/color] 

Valerian reached into his bag, pulled out a pokeball, and gently booped it to the Mimikyu’s head. The Poké Ball opened with a flash of red light and swallowed the small Pokémon whole. It dropped to the floor, where it started shaking. Valerian looked at it, hands clasped in prayer. [color=pink]“Come now, darling. Don’t be difficult.”[/color]
