At a light run, it took Paashi a little better than two hour to reach Eon Tower, being the last to arrive as he watched the women on broomsticks and the large emerald bird that he assumed to be a spirit come in for a landing. “Ah hell, I’m not late am I?” He asked to no one in particular, but given that no one seemed overly bothered, he figured that even if he was, he wasn’t late enough that it mattered overly much. So, he took to looking over the other would-be maguses to see who he’d be more or less living with for the next… however long. Some stood out to him more than others, and he could’ve sworn one of them looked just like that one dwarven gladiatrix, Trass Bloodblaze or something. Even down to the giant sword, but that was neither here nor there. But then, something caught his eye as he saw what was slug across the back of the ragged-looking man, and what self-restraint he had was put to use to keep himself from salivating over the beautifully crafted and quite well kept rifle he carried. At least, it seemed, he took better care of his tools than he did his own appearance. That was a good sign. His attention was only drawn away from the weapon when he noticed Lapis staring at him, which he responded to with a polite wave. “Hello there,” he greeted her, trying to avoid a feeling of awkwardness that had started to poke at the back of his mind, though he was able to shrug it off for now. Another who stood out to him was someone that appeared to him as a rather frail human, their build and appearance suggesting them to be a young woman, with a sack and a lyre, and figuring there were worse ways of introducing himself, he walked over to who he was assuming was a woman, and gestured towards their lyre. “Always nice to meet someone who likes music. Mind if I ask your name, ma’am?” He asked, with a friendly and unassuming smile, not knowing what he’d done.
Following quietly and sticking towards the back of the group as they passed through the halls, he couldn’t help but marvel at the architecture. It was more grand than anything he’d ever seen, and the detail work on just about everything was stunning. As the woman who’d introduced herself as Roze gestured towards the staff, he looked over the group as best he could as they introduced themselves, though only two immediately stood out to him. Paashi’s interest was piqued by the concept of combining galdr and alchemy of all things, so his face tinged with a slight disappointment as Nadia was cut off by Elaine. Still, he supposed there was a time and a place for that. He made a mental note to ask about how that worked later as everyone moved on. And what a person to move on to, as Johannes introduced himself. From someone who drew his attention for magical purposes to someone who did so for mechanical reasons, Paashi couldn’t help but to grin slowly as the older man went on. Maybe he could have some insights to improve the URR, Paashi figured. Maybe then some part or other wouldn’t break on him every other day. Paashi raised a tentative hand for the main questions he had regarding the tower and it’s staff. “Is there an open workshop for us to use, or do we need to find our own space?” He asked, his mind jumping to the potential present here, now that he had more than scrap metals he had to effectively reforge into something halfway-useful. Realizing that was an assumption, he then decided to ask about that as well. There was no point getting excited if he was still using half-rusted steel, after all. “And, are resources provided, or do we need to supply our own?” After a moment’s pause, he started counting off some examples to give the staff an idea of what he was talking about. “Y’know, steel, septarium, wood, oils, stuff of that nature.” Paashi flinched as the four feminine individuals suddenly teleported into the hall just between the newcomers and the staff, having expected anything but… well, that. He was intrigued though, as it had been a minute since he’d met anyone who used void magic, and even then they usually had the good grace to not arrive suddenly between two groups that were heavily armed and well trained. His hand jumped to his belt on a reflex, to a small piece of septarium, though he stopped himself before he did anything stupid like throw a spell grenade. They were likely new arrivals, after all, and it wouldn’t do to try to blow them up as a first impression. He instead returned to a more casual pose, as he tried to gauge if anyone else thought that was odd.
