It took Violet a half hour to walk from her shack to Ari's hotel. The day was cool, there was a breeze, and it was overcast. It could easily be mid-October, if it weren't the middle of July. She probably got recognized and perhaps catcalled by several men. Some people would probably complement her playing at last night's concert. Typical, likely. About a block away, she can already tell that she's at the hotel because there's easily hundreds of people gathering around the hotel talking about Ari and the concert that happened last night and various other things. There was a baracade and some police surrounding it to make sure there weren't any trespassers into the hotel or anything. Ari's hotel looked like a typical 1920s-styled apartment building, blending in with the surrounding architecture. If Violet looked up, she could see a figure, ostensibly Ari, leaning on a balcony.
