[@Remram] The guy watched Basil’s reactions without showing a shred of if he had pieced anything together or not. He did take a moment to look somewhere to the left of him, like if there was something that he wished to confirm or so, but then looked back to Basil. He did not show much reaction to Basil starting to advance on him, nor at the obvious rage he was displaying. Upon Basil demanding his answer, the guy considered for a moment. Then he looked up and replied. ‘If you were to hand her over, the problem would be gone from your life forever,’ he said. ‘You would not like the alternative. You are not a hero.’ So he declared, with the exact same tone of voice as before. Not a hint of feeling threatened, or being excited for having obtained a lead. It should be noted, there are people around. This is in the middle of the streets of Stillwood Village, and people are going about their business. So any actions beyond the natural, from either part, would be sure to attract attention. What would Basil do?

Stillwood Village
Inside these calm forests lies a village completely in-tune with nature. The buildings are built around or in the trees of wood and stone, the light shining onto the village stifled by the great trees above. In the air, meeting your nose as soon as you tread into the village, is filled to the brim with the smell of forest and spores. It’s a wild smell, but somehow it is extremely relaxing and any worries seem to be stifled before the calming village ahead where everyone is always so calm and happy, wild Pokémon walking freely on the roads of the place. This is Stillwood Village, the most relaxing place imaginable, it’s people in touch with nature and wishing the best to all those who come to their cozy and ancient little home. Wild Grass Pokémon freely wander the streets, spreading their spores into the air which the townspeople actively walk through every single day. They are all smiles, very helpful, the entire village and all visitors afflicted by the relaxing sensations brought by the spores during their stay in Stillwood Village. However, these spores are the reason quite a few avoid Stillwood Village, arguing that it messes with one’s mind. It is extremely rare that a member of Stillwood Village moves out of the village, after all. It will also quickly become evident just how little the members of the village care about the world at large, all their worries gone by the relaxing spores and just continue living, no troubles in the slightest. That’s Stillwood Village for you.

1. Find Pokémon. Can still search for Pokémon in cities~ 2. Talk. That one,’ Russel immediately leaned forward, his hand going through his beard as he took his goggles to look at Erika with an excitement within his crazed little eyes. ‘A foreigner came and told me about it. Apparently, it’s a Pokémon… that is an engine! Think, think of what machinery it could pull if you put it inside a machine!? As a Pokémon, it’s not going to need gas in the usual way, and what if we can make it stronger by training it like any other Pokémon!? The possibilities are, dare I say it, endless! I want to power a flying machine with one!’ he said, clearly all excited. ‘Unfortunately, he didn’t know its name. As I heard it, there isn’t any on Isson. It is a foreign Pokémon, from a foreign land. To find one, why, you’d have to trade yourself one from someone who already has one! As for finding someone who does that, I don’t know. I’ve already checked the Worldedge Trade Station, they don’t have any. But perhaps you know someone that could know where you’d find one, hm? Maybe?’ Russel suggested, tilting his head at her. Then, she departed, and Russel waved after her as she left before he turned to his next project. Next, she wandered up some stairs and arrived at the Residential District. Definitely the calmest place in Worldedge City, the most chaotic things that happened here were from the games of children. Normal people lived here, coming and going as they needed to, and there was a park to play in or explore. Otherwise, it was certainly the nicest place in the city to simply take a walk. Yet, Erika ended up somewhere anyway. By a couple apartment buildings, she wandered up to the second floor. Somehow, she knew where to go. And then she found an open door, and… An ordinary apartment, with a kitchen, a bedroom, a large lounge, and a TV with a Nintendo Switch connected to it. A computer was also next to the TV. On the wall a map of Isson was attached, with helpful information being written and notes attached all over it. There were pictures of characters hung up, of the various Gym Leaders, of the various people who had received their Pokémon from Kalmia. There were notes around each town and location, a couple around Pureplain City, a lot around Worldedge City and Bigfjord City, a moderate around just about all other places outside cities. There were lists of Pokémon, where they could be found, all sorts of information… but it was all a bit fuzzy in Erika’s mind. She’d find she had trouble recalling it later. There were bookshelves containing a lot of video games, strange technological gizmos and the occasional books on Pokémon and roleplaying games, and photos of a man with various Pokémon. ‘Hello!’ a man stood at the bedroom door, waving a little awkwardly at Erika. As he spoke, his tone of voice was familiar. ‘I’m sorry if this breaks immersion a little. But, I am PlatinumSkink, and I made this game! I figured if Game Freak keeps putting themselves into their games, I should keep up tradition,’ he said. Note that, by necessity, Erika is not able to grasp the implications of “made this game” and should not react with that in mind once she leaves. ‘Please, have a seat,’ he offered, pointing to the dinner table in the kitchen. He went over to the fridge, and… ‘Would you like juice? Milk? Water? I, heh, don’t have much else,’ he said, and if Erika asked for any of it she would get a glass of it. ‘This place, well. I reward you for your efforts, and I can also point you in the direction you want to go if there’s such a place that you can describe to me. Like all creators, I will offer you a diploma if you catch all Pokémon, as unlikely as that is,’ he said, and chuckles. ‘Believe me, if you were to actually catch all Pokémon in Isson, I will make a legit diploma and mail it to you, wherever you are in the world. I am serious.’ For some reason, Erika felt like he wasn’t talking to her, there. He walked over to the bookshelf, which contained several binders. The binders are, well, let’s see…
”OOC”, “Spreadsheets”, “Posts”, “Maps”, “Places”, “Work in Progress”, “Work in Progress 2” “Battles”, “Bigfjord City”, “Characters”, “Team Virtue”, “Team Amethyst”, “Rivals”, “Elite Four”, “Gym Leaders”, “Others”, “Contests”, “Commissions”, “first”, “jackz”, “Trainer Teams”, “Image Resources”, “beard”
The guy took the binder called “Spreadsheets” and started leafing through it. ‘Man, it’s been so long. I put a lot of hours into writing all of this, haha. Of course, I enjoyed it a lot. I do hope you’re having fun.’ He closed the binder and placed it back into the shelf. ‘These binders are off-limits, don’t read them, hah,’ he said with a little chuckle. He walked a step to the right and picked up a gizmo from the shelf. He inspected the item, seemingly considered something. Then he smiled, and then stepped over to Erika with it. ‘I think there was something I had decided to do when someone came here, but I forgot what it was. But since you took your time to come here, I’d like you to have this,’ he said. He held over a headgear, with some shining lights on top of it, made to be outfitted on a Pokémon. Erika obtained Exp. Share! ‘It’s the Exp. Share! If a Pokémon in your party wears it, then whenever any of your Pokémon battles, half their experience will be transferred to the Pokémon wearing it. It will be like they remember half the battle, and they will get experience that goes towards leveling up. Now, since this is a roleplay, it is probably not as difficult to level up low-level Pokémon, but still.’ With that said, he then held over one more thing. It was a Pokéball. ‘This is also the place I figured is the best place to give out the most important gift Pokémon. Would you like one?’
Erika obtained Eevee! Gender: ♀ Type: Normal Personality: (Up to player.) But about this world, perhaps where you’d like to go next, or about any people you’ve met, or if there’s anything in particular you want to experience. I don’t promise I will answer, sometimes things are best experienced on your own, but I could guide you in the right direction to learn those answers. And, of course, you’re free to return here whenever you feel like,’ he said, smiling. ‘So, is there anything you’d like to know?’ Or, if she was done here, she could turn around and leave back into Worldedge City again.

Worldedge City
A rush of energy flows with the wind that breezes through the alleys of the city. Somehow, you feel lighter, like some strange weight has been taken from your shoulders. Looking up, tall, massive structures, structures seeming to defy gravity and common sense grow, stretching high into the sky and far down across the cliffs. The people look calm, focused on their duties and sprawling in their number, holding a vital position in all the businesses of Isson. The design of the streets are narrow, illogical and unstructured, and feel like they would be easy to get lost in, yet it is as if you’re being guided by fate’s hand and you’ll arrive where you were intending to go. In the distance, always watching, the peaks of a distant mountain rise. You are now in Worldedge City. Isson’s largest city. It grew into place on both sides of Mt. Edge as efforts were made to dig through the mountain and join the northern and southern landmasses, it was known as two different towns until the use of Abras as public transportation method within the city was widely adopted and the city grew to become known as one single entity. Widely accepted is the idea that a mystical energy of some form within Mt. Edge surges around the buildings, calling Psychic Pokémon towards the mountain and therefore the city. People living here have an easier time feeling at ease with the world, and the laws of gravity don't apply as they maybe should to the buildings around here. From this would Isson’s most successful city grow to be, at the place where two or more worlds connect. So was Worldedge City named. It should be noted that being called a “Worldedge Resident” has some negative stigma attached to it. If you are one, you’re interpreted as a lazy individual who has it easier than the rest of the world, happiness coming naturally to you and you probably see yourself as superior to the rest of Isson, and you might not be entirely sane or yourself due to constant exposure to the energies of Mt. Edge. Of course, this is a stereotype that most people recognize and can see past, but there is no smoke without fire, so to say. There those who are very distrustful of the energies of Mt. Edge and would rather never subject themselves to it. These particular dislikes compounded and grew strong enough in some people that the Crossing was created just south of Worldedge City just so those individuals could get past without entering the city.
The city is comprised of six different districts. Three districts on each side of Mt. Edge, stapled on top of one another by the way of leaning on the cliff sides and mountain as well as giant pillars, taking advantage of the strange physics around Mt. Edge. Exits out of the city are on the middle districts of each side. Each district has their own Pokémon Center and Pokémart, but otherwise have their own unique features. While the building architecture still might require a raised eyebrow, the atmosphere is healthy and playful, many families making their life here on top of the Commercial and Entertainment districts, where they work. Schools and little parks for children to learn the ways of Pokémon exist, and there is nothing saying those older cannot use them too. The Little Cup stadium is here, allowing the children to watch and perhaps participate without straying too far from home. Yet, among these buildings live a few of the most noteworthy individuals in Isson. It’s a long, winding corridor of tight buildings with many bridges and storefronts, and it all leads up to the Worldedge Department Store, the biggest Pokémart in Isson. If you somehow cannot find what you’re looking for there, then you’re probably all out of luck. It isn’t all there is here, however. Among the corridors is the House of Trades, where people can sit at computers and request trades with all other people that have ever been there, as well as the Psychic Train that uses certain teleporting abilities to achieve transportation to a distant town. Or, if those don’t reach where you want, you can just call a Freecape Ferryman and s/he’ll fly you there, assuming you have the cash. Given all the buildings on top, few actual lights come down here even during the day, but all the blazing lights in this unnatural city-scape more than make up for it. Plenty of the skyscrapers holding up the Commercial District above have some form of advertisement, and each open door opens a new possible way to spend money in these depths of entertainment, probably with some form of Pokémon logo. Down here lies the most famous and populated Game Corner on Isson, where thousands of P are being wasted every day, and houses for unofficial Contests or Battles for money and prices are sanctioned and bet upon for the enjoyment of viewers and participants. It truly feels like if one never got bored, one would probably never run out of things to do down here… assuming the wallet didn’t run dry, that is. Notable Places: 1. Worldedge Game Corner. They may seek to share their knowledge at the multiple cafés spread about, read up at the library, check into the museum or any number of things. There aren’t that many things here that would keep a Pokémon Trainer dawdling around for long, and most residents here are fine with that. It is still quite the spectacle, walking on the bridges between these pointy buildings, finding the streets and wondering how you're not lost yet in this maze of stairs and bridges, never touching the ground. Far above lies the Mystical District and there are plenty of stairs up, and down below is the Industrial District… It may feel a bit enclosed. Most notable in this area is most certainly the famous Professor Dunstan’s lab and residence, which he mostly leaves to his companions as he spends a lot of his time in the other lab in Raremine Town as well. Notable Places: 1. Guide Booth. Because finding your way in Worldedge City can be a challenge! 2. Gossiping Cafés. The factories of Worldedge City are far below the Information District, down at water-level, where at the base of Mt. Edge countless machines tumble and toll for the continued success of man- and Pokémon-kind. Being below two other districts the Industrial District is naturally dark, even during the day, but countless lights shine it up and the workers do not mind one bit. They have their own marketplaces, their own little residences and they certainly earn enough to make their own lives when it comes to that. But, among the factories and warehouses are those that stand empty, and one might have to wonder what’s actually inside them sometimes. Notable Places: 1. Factories. Assisted by Psychic-Pokémon, the upper echelons of the city contains a significant price-tag for those who’d wish to live here and so filters the more common men to the levels below, yet there are activities that draw trainers up from the depths. First and foremost is the Pokémon Gym, floating above their heads, and also the Worldedge Floating Stadium, the largest and most amazing of the multiple stadiums in Worldedge City, where the most epic of battles in the city are fought and watched. Truly, these streets so high above the rest leave a certain impression as one walks here. Notable Places: 1. Pokémon Gym. Worldedge City Gym. Have Minor (level 25-minus), Middle (level 25-50) and Major (level 50-plus) cups. 3. The Villas of the Rich. Not that there’s much you could potentially do with them, but they’re here. 4. Orlando’s Spiritual Dojo. A dojo focused on discovering one’s spiritual self. Often takes trips into Mt. Edge. You can join an expedition for protection, or challenge them! 5. Marilyn’s Divination. Tell her where you’re going next, and she can divine your luck and what to look out for when there! 6. Gym Leader’s Home. … So, those who can’t get to the Gym themselves are sometimes known to wait for the leader here. It’s a little frowned upon.
