Quickly standing at the street corner he hailed a cab and sat down in the backseat. The driver, an older gentleman wearing a green Tammie cap glanced at him with a frown. “Bit early for Halloween isn't it buddy?” The Weeping didn't respond verbally merely taking out a wad of cash and setting it down on his knee before pointing across the bridge. He could see the hint of greed in the cap drivers face as the wad was easier more then he made most months. The cab driver just nodded as they went over the bridge. After a few efforts to make conversation with the strange man all turned out as failures the cab driver kept to himself. As they got close to the city hall, the Weeping could see the backside of the academy a block over. The small amulet in his hand was getting brighter he was sure of it. As they got stopped at a red light the Weeping noticed they were engulfed in the shadow of a building. He grinned exposing his pearly whites and whispered. “Perfect.” “Huh?” Came the response of the cab driver as he looked in his rearview mirror to an empty backseat. The spooked man quickly turning in his front seat to confirm it was indeed empty safe for the wad of cash still sitting on the seat. He gulped as he felt a drop of sweat rush down his cheek. It had sounded like there had been multiple people back there when he heard the man speak. “Maybe...” He paused. “Maybe it's time to retire..” He pulled off to the side of the road to gather his thoughts as he collected the cash. As the Weeping glided through the shadows he entered into the school unseen and made his way into the bowels of the school. Finding one of its boiler rooms and wedged himself behind the machinery and went into a fetal position to make himself as small as possible his arms wrapping around his legs as he began to release invisible spirits into the school. Even if there were students here that could catch a glimpse they would seem as though fleeing shadows. It took only ten to fifteen minutes for the Weeping to frown and glance at this stupid amulet. Was this just a wild goose chase? His eyes narrowed when he finally got a bit of useful information. It was that damned woman again. So, she was looking for her to? But why?
