Pokédex Entry #707 – Klefki, the Key Ring Pokémon. A key collector, it sometimes infiltrates homes to steal keys. It never lets go of a key once it’s grabbed, so people give it keys to vaults and safes to prevent theft. Should it be endangered, it will threaten the attackers by fiercely jingling their keys at them. Its diet consists of minerals. Pokédex Entry #690 – Skrelp, the Mock Kelp Pokémon. Camouflaged as rotten kelp, it sprays liquid poison on prey that approaches unawares. It vanishes into the seaweed and remains perfectly still to avoid larger Pokémon. In various places the signs of construction are evident, as people attempted to tame the caverns, but ultimately to no avail. There are quite a few paths that lead down through icy halls where only the frozen walls are your companions, but an equal amount lead in over the mountainside with the open sky above and a constant snowfall. Ice sticks out like crystals, forming both the path that one may walk on as well as the scenery one might be awed by. The icy nature here is untamed and wild. Compared to the calm coolness of the mines, here the cold feels substantially more hostile. Any trainer heading through here must beware or they will slip, and not all paths one can slip down have access to easy paths back up. Cold blows eternally from above and below. Many ice-Pokémon make their home here, and quite a few of them are at least somewhat aggressive in nature. All of this caused these caves to once be judged to be a great challenge, and any Pokémon Trainer that is able to brave them is worthy of the battle-focused city of Cooldome City that awaits on the other side… Albeit, most people who make their way to Cooldome City does so by the far safer Tunnel on the eastern side instead.[/hider] [hider=Suggestions to actions]1. Somehow, you feel lighter, like some strange weight has been taken from your shoulders. Looking up, tall, massive structures, structures seeming to defy gravity and common sense grow, stretching high into the sky and far down across the cliffs. The people look calm, focused on their duties and sprawling in their number, holding a vital position in all the businesses of Isson. The design of the streets are narrow, illogical and unstructured, and feel like they would be easy to get lost in, yet it is as if you’re being guided by fate’s hand and you’ll arrive where you were intending to go. In the distance, always watching, the peaks of a distant mountain rise. You are now in Worldedge City. Isson’s largest city. It grew into place on both sides of Mt. Edge as efforts were made to dig through the mountain and join the northern and southern landmasses, it was known as two different towns until the use of Abras as public transportation method within the city was widely adopted and the city grew to become known as one single entity. Widely accepted is the idea that a mystical energy of some form within Mt. Edge surges around the buildings, calling Psychic Pokémon towards the mountain and therefore the city. People living here have an easier time feeling at ease with the world, and the laws of gravity don't apply as they maybe should to the buildings around here. From this would Isson’s most successful city grow to be, at the place where two or more worlds connect. So was Worldedge City named. It should be noted that being called a “Worldedge Resident” has some negative stigma attached to it. If you are one, you’re interpreted as a lazy individual who has it easier than the rest of the world, happiness coming naturally to you and you probably see yourself as superior to the rest of Isson, and you might not be entirely sane or [i]yourself[/i] due to constant exposure to the energies of Mt. Edge. Of course, this is a stereotype that most people recognize and can see past, but there is no smoke without fire, so to say. There those who are very distrustful of the energies of Mt. Edge and would rather never subject themselves to it. These particular dislikes compounded and grew strong enough in some people that the Crossing was created just south of Worldedge City just so those individuals could get past without entering the city.[/hider] The city is comprised of six different districts. Three districts on each side of Mt. Edge, stapled on top of one another by the way of leaning on the cliff sides and mountain as well as giant pillars, taking advantage of the strange physics around Mt. Edge. Exits out of the city are on the middle districts of each side. Each district has their own Pokémon Center and Pokémart, but otherwise have their own unique features. Schools and little parks for children to learn the ways of Pokémon exist, and there is nothing saying those older cannot use them too. The Little Cup stadium is here, allowing the children to watch and perhaps participate without straying too far from home. Yet, among these buildings live a few of the most noteworthy individuals in Isson. Like the rumored and powerful Crone, who has to be battled by a strong trainer every once in a while or she will stir up trouble, or like the empty mansion that supposedly belongs to the Champion… Notable Places: 1. If you somehow cannot find what you’re looking for there, then you’re probably all out of luck. It isn’t all there is here, however. Among the corridors is the House of Trades, where people can sit at computers and request trades with all other people that have ever been there, as well as the Psychic Train that uses certain teleporting abilities to achieve transportation to a distant town. Or, if those don’t reach where you want, you can just call a Freecape Ferryman and s/he’ll fly you there, assuming you have the cash. Also here, lies the store where the infamous inventor Russel sells his products. Perhaps, if you’re lucky, the fool’s things actually work for you? No guarantees, though! Notable Places: 1. Plenty of the skyscrapers holding up the Commercial District above have some form of advertisement, and each open door opens a new possible way to spend money in these depths of entertainment, probably with some form of Pokémon logo. Down here lies the most famous and populated Game Corner on Isson, where thousands of P are being wasted every day, and houses for unofficial Contests or Battles for money and prices are sanctioned and bet upon for the enjoyment of viewers and participants. It truly feels like if one never got bored, one would probably never run out of things to do down here… assuming the wallet didn’t run dry, that is. Notable Places: 1. Worldedge Game Corner. There aren’t that many things here that would keep a Pokémon Trainer dawdling around for long, and most residents here are fine with that. It is still quite the spectacle, walking on the bridges between these pointy buildings, finding the streets and wondering how you're not lost yet in this maze of stairs and bridges, never touching the ground. Far above lies the Mystical District and there are plenty of stairs up, and down below is the Industrial District… It may feel a bit enclosed. Most notable in this area is most certainly the famous Professor Dunstan’s lab and residence, which he mostly leaves to his companions as he spends a lot of his time in the other lab in Raremine Town as well. Being below two other districts the Industrial District is naturally dark, even during the day, but countless lights shine it up and the workers do not mind one bit. They have their own marketplaces, their own little residences and they certainly earn enough to make their own lives when it comes to that. But, among the factories and warehouses are those that stand empty, and one might have to wonder what’s actually inside them sometimes. Notable Places: 1. Factories. [i]Produces everything from Pokédolls to furniture, and who-the-heck-knows.[/i] 2. Abandoned Factories. [i]Produces everything from Grimers to street thugs, and who-the-heck-knows.[/i] 3. Warehouses. [i]A certain camp of individuals that can take your requests for Pokémon or items you want, and they might come back and provide them for you. Sounds easy, right?[/i] 5. Sketchy Entrances. [i]… The heck are you doing down here? They hid these things down here for a REASON, normal people wouldn’t normally ever need to see them![/i] 6. ???. [i]Trigger a “random” event. First and foremost is the Pokémon Gym, floating above their heads, and also the Worldedge Floating Stadium, the largest and most amazing of the multiple stadiums in Worldedge City, where the most epic of battles in the city are fought and watched. Truly, these streets so high above the rest leave a certain impression as one walks here. Notable Places: 1. Pokémon Gym. [i]Worldedge City Gym. It’s one of those towers floating in mid-air… You need to fly to get there.[/i] 2. Worldedge Floating Stadium. [i]Worldedge’s biggest stadium, floating over the city.
