Beggar bandit Lvl: 3 HP: 6/10 MP: 2/5
The raggedly dressed man gripped his cane firmly as he staggared around his enemy, circling the statue of a man standing before him. The bandit panted heavily. He had expended so much energy and even his qi to unleash almost everything he had on his foe. They had proved far more dangerous than the bandit was ready for. Now he looked for an opening, a weakness. It wasn't that his attacks hadn't landed, the enemy was far from a powerful foe. The issue came from the rythmic hand gestures the adversary kept doing. Even now he saw them starting them up, and so they lunged it to take advantage of this distraction, and his cane slammed hard into the enemy's shoulder. Unfortunately, the damage did little to stop the movement. you take 4 damage! "healing palms!" The enemy called out, then with a golden glow his bruises and wounds faded away and the bandit was right back where he began. Now the unmoving man moved, his fist flinging out and slamming into the bandit! The fist clobbered directly into their chin and caused the beggar sect minion to stumble back. His foot, searching for purchase, caught on one of his fallen foes as he fell to the ground. you deal 5 damage! The brawl continued, but there wasn't much of a fight left. The Bandit put up a valiant effort, and having a weapon gave him an advantage. Unfortunately, just when he started to make progress a single hit managed to finish the fight and the wounds he dealt was healed away with the same healing palms technique. Playername: Doctor_Buttz, had been in the game for a while now. They had joined with some friends in college, but classes where not equal and work took up any free time they might have had. This was one of the rare days when they managed to get to play. It was late in their dorm, but despite knowing better they were delaying sleep with hours of witching hour gaming. Doctor_buttz let out a heave of exhaustion as the last Bandit fell and their wounds where healed. It had been slow going, even slower since they had gotten to a road block in the form of the nearest dungeon. Without help and without much to do they had been spending time grinding out exp and loot from the wandering low level grunts in the Goldspan road. Things had been harder since their staff had been destroyed in their first attempt at soloing the dungeon. you gain 58 exp! You collected 5 gp! You found 6 weapon components! Doctor_Buttz, or Doc as the few strangers they had worked with, sighed in exasperation as they looked at the combat log. Nearly half an hour of labor all but wasted. They cursed themself for not respecing before they had hit level 10, or for putting points into the smithing skill. A shaman was no fighter, and without a weapon it wasn't much better. Mana was getting low, and it was time to head back to the main town. The plain looking individual turned away as the fallen bandits began to fade away, newer versions of themselves bound to respawn any moment. Doc was a rather plain looking man in the game. They had done very little to edit the default design. A white turban and robes with a red shaw that barely covered the shoulders and ended half way down the midsection. A necklace and two rings adorned the character, a few little trinkets to try to boose stats, mostly a makeshift replacement for a weapon, a damage boosting ring, an HP boosing ring, and a necklace to boost their healing spells. Their character was a petite man, with a toned musculature that was all but required of a character model. Their dark skin contrasted their blue eyes and the only hair exposed on the young yet masculine face was the white eyebrows above their beautiful eyes. The trip back to town wasn't a hard one but it felt like ages before he was back. Doc couldn't really mind it though. Amongst the monotony of grinding and selling discarded loot, the peaceful walk through a beautiful river valley was far from unappreciated. In a way they where upset when the got to the bustling hub town for new players. Most players these days where a higher level, but Buttz couldn't help but return to this place. He traded in his Weapon Components for a few measily GP, and spent time waiting for their HP and MP to return. Once it did, they tried the same method that had failed them every other time. "anyone need a healer? Trying to grind for levels tonight" They called out, sitting on a park bench on the main street in town.
Doctor_Buttz Lvl: 10 HP: 32 MP: 50/50
