My name’s Ro — I am F/30. I am back from a writing hiatus and am looking for 1x1 partners for a long term, story-format RP.

About me and what I am looking for:
I have been role playing on and off since the mid 2010’s. I’ve done roleplays spanning over years, and I love a good slow burn plot! I am looking for someone within my age range who is able to chat OOC about our plots, plan ahead, and create structure while still adding our own little twists and surprises. I love to brainstorm with my partners, create playlists and mood-boards, and just plain geek out over a shared story. I love getting knowing my RP partners and have made some great friends over the years through the writing community. 

Themes in a roleplay I enjoy:

•I typically roleplay LGBT main characters (and mainly roleplayed M/M in the past). Open to M/F but prefer queer-friendly writing partners. 

•Low fantasy 

•Cults / religious groups and conflict

•Phantoms / Specters / Haunting

•Curses / Characters who are trying to create or break a curse

•War / political tension / enemies to lovers 
 
•Dream travel / reality bending / hypnosis

•Royalty / kingdom 

•Bodysnatching / “monsters”

•Escaped criminal / Wrongly accused

•Slow burn romance — I am a sucker for some romance in a plot, but nothing too rushed. 

What I am not looking for:

•Low effort or bad grammar. Mistakes and typos happen, I absolutely make them in my own drafts, but I want to find people who are intentional writers and aim to challenge and strengthen the writing muscle. I try my best to proof read before posting!

•Smut roleplaying — I am fine with mature themes but I am NOT looking for non-platonic writing partners. Fade to black is fine, implied mature scenes are okay! Mature scenes must be plot driven, but not drawn out and explicit. 

•Modern day

•Anime / fandoms 

•D&D creatures & classes — I prefer humans or humanoid characters! 

•NO AI GENERATED POSTS. I can't believe I have to add this to my interest check, but seeing as how tech has changed over the last 10+years, I feel as though I have to. Please, if you like roleplay and creative writing, absolutely no use of AI please. I want genuine connections and effort.
