Apologies for the wait. Work's been brutal. She has no perception of ‘allies’ or ‘enemies’ outside the immediate instinct of whether or not to kill something if convenient.

Focused

She is a woman of focus, committment, and sheer fucking will. She is unflinching. She is as a freight train, direct and unstoppable when she has sight of any goal or objective.

Perfectionist

Mistakes are weakness. Weakness is failure. Failure is betrayal. Betrayal means death. She holds herself to a standard of little more than immaculate performance both for herself and for those working beneath her. Any less means blood.

History: Himeri is a veritable princess of industry - her progenitors being leading figures in the weapons and logistics industries of Brule. She was the youngest child of the burgeoning Eboshi dynasty, but her parents were not loving ones. They expected perfection in all things. Mastery of the arts. Mastery of the sciences. Mastery of the blade. As Himeri and her siblings grew, the deaths began. Her eldest brother taken by plague. Her older sister, by her own hand. Her other brothers by war and by sickness. Word fell that the Eboshi family was cursed - a holy punishment for their hubris. When only Himeri stood alone, last heiress of their blood, she had already been molded. Any vestigate of humanity she had were buried beneath years of abuse, neglect, and brutal tutelage and punishment to match. Failure in any capacity was unthinkable - yet when the Abyssal Wave first began to nip at the shores of the continent, she watched as the soldiers armed by her father's weapons fell in numbers uncountable as their supply lines began to fall apart and humanity's world shrunk to naught but a few bulwark cities. The Eboshi dynasty had failed to contain it - and the failure of the ones who'd expected perfection from her sickened the young woman. She marched to face the darkness herself, but it embraced her. It was the victor, the stronger force. Its heralds promised her strength and mastery far beyond any she would find in the dwindling human populations. It promised her the perfection that had become her sole purpose. Now, her visage twisted by darkness, Himeri hoists its banner under the only moniker that suits her. Whispers late at night speak of a ghost haunting the ruined wastes of the continent, its blade shimmering in the moonlight, and the horrid golden eyes that foretold murder. They call her Lady Victory.
Spells and Abilities:

Flawless Swordplay

Himeri's swordsmanship is nearly unmatched. She is blisteringly fast and precise both with a single blade and pairs of swords, and whispers tell she can cut cleanly enough to sever the wings from a butterfly in flight. However, Himeri is deeply impatient, and lacks stamina. Intending to end fights as quickly and violently as possible, when faced by multiple opponents or in a battle lasting just a little too long, mistakes will be made.

Eyes of Gold

Her gaze inspires a primordial fear in anybody who peers into them. Though a seasoned warrior or adventurer can overcome it with just a little willpower, the majority of people will buckle under the weight of her predatory glare. A fine interrogation tool.

Abyssal Sense

Her horns pick up minute sounds and vibrations, allowing her to sense motion and sound from significantly further than most normal humans. Approaching her stealthily isn't impossible, but it is highly improbable.

Weapons or tools:

Damascus Steel Wakizashi

Short, mobile, thin swords that suit her preference for precision and speed. She owns two, but will generally carry only one of them the majority of the time - only choosing to carry both when time comes for war.

Night Creatures

Himeri has been trusted a measure of authority in commanding small detachments of Algrimar's forces. In full on battlefield settings, she will generally be accompanied by a small, mobile unit of reanimated soldiers or twisted beasts.

Miscellaneous Information:

Loyalty?

Himeri obeys the orders of the Scourge, but she doesn't seem to endorse, protest, or argue at all. She simply... Does. She seems more concerned with, if anything, her own improvement above all - with little interest in the Scourge's goals or the fate of the world.

Musical Acumen

She seems to have a fondness for the piano - often stopping what she's doing to play short tunes she'd learned in her youth - or those taught to her by her late siblings.

[sub]Artwork by @m_riidi[/sub]
