Her pale skin has recently been blemished by a single drop of ink on her wrist, a tattoo of her father’s final words, and she does not allow any jewelry to dangle from her face, instead she accessories with rings, necklaces, chokers, and pins. Her blue eyes are less piercing than most, and are a darker shade that seems to light up when meeting someone new. Her hair is wavy, and is consistently cut to stay right below the blades of her shoulders and it is often put up into a ponytail and pulled back. Currently she is a platinum blonde but this odds always subject to change. When she wears it down she tries to go towards a ‘lived in’ look that focuses on a controlled messy appearance. Lily appears as if she’s the life of the party. She often dresses in an alternative, but colorful, style. She is a big fan of the tried and tested combo of denim high waisted shorts, fishnet tights, and an oversized shirt that flows overtop. She’s often spotted in converse, or some combat boots, and is rarely seen wearing heels. In these colder months she tends to wear more slacks, and colorfully striped sweaters underneath her jacket. While she may alternate between this, and a more refined version when the need arises, Lily always appears approachable, confident, and above all else friendly on the first glance. Yet the longer one looks at her the more they will notice the little things that give away her motivation. Lily often finds a twisted joy in bringing chaos down onto others. As such, at every moment of every day she’ll be searching out new ways to make life harder for others. This has led to her being ostracized from social groups, and also missing out on a few actual good things that were happening in the present right in front of her. She was born into a well off household but didn’t know her mother as she disappeared from every part of her life right after she gave birth. Her father was a well liked, well off, and happy man who was the favorite pediatrician of their suburban neighborhoods just outside Buffalo New York. From an early age her attentive father noticed that something was off with his little girl. Where he saw joy and happiness in the kids he treated at work, he saw a shell of a child at home. At first, he chalked this up to the circumstances of Lilly’s birth and lack of a mother in her life and pushed to fill that void as best as he could. That was, at least, until he got called to the kindergarten to speak with the teacher regarding an incident that transpired. Lilly had put some gum in the most popular girl's hair, and then convinced her that her best friend did it. When the two kids ended up fighting, she admitted freely that she had lied and in fact was the one to blame for the situation. When her father saw her in the office it was the first time that he saw her smile ever so vibrantly. As she continued to grow she was in and out of therapy, and began to love the game of it. She had a knack for telling them lies that could even trump the truth of a situation, and win them to her side, only to reveal the con and break their spirits ever so. Her father, sensing that it was because of her lineage, decided that the only thing that he could do would be to take her far away from where he met Lily’s mother in the first place, and quickly found a job out in California and moved the two of them soon thereafter. This change of scenery helped Lily. It was like a switch was flipped in her brain. The rest of her elementary school years were without issue, and her middle school years followed that trend. As such, Lily was no longer in therapy and was able to live a relatively normal life. That was, until she ran face first into the politics of an American Highschool. As a freshman she began to be the target of a few bullies, and these bullies were from families richer than hers, more influential than hers, and this led to them being at the top of the food chain. This led to a new rage brewing deep within her, a rage so potent it called out to her mother like nectar to a bee and pulled her back into her life. While she did not stay for long, she did remain long enough for Lily to learn of her status as a demigod and learn some control over the dormant magic that she suppressed. Lily used these basic skills to infiltrate the cliques of the school, turn them against one another, and ultimately cause the collapse of everything that they stood for. This was fun for Lily. It was more fun than anything she had experienced before. The process of building up the lie , stabbing people in the back, and turning friends into foes was intoxicating. And she wanted to get more, and more of that feeling. Yet Lily seemed to be very deliberate in the selection of her targets. She always picked the most popular, and meanest, people she could yet she never seemed to target the kids lower on the totem pole. By the time she graduated everyone had become too busy fighting each other to ever consider bullying her or those too weak to fight back. After Highschool Lily moved back to Buffalo to attend college in the hope of meeting her mother again but this proved to not be as easy as she hoped. Still, as she finished the fall semester of her third year she figured it was only a matter of time before the two would be reunited. For her Christmas break she decided to surprise her father back home and flew out at once. When she arrived, she found him barely alive laying in a pool of his own blood. He gave her a final goodbye, and told her to not listen to that dark part of her that always wants out. That there was more good in her soul than not. As his last breath parted his lips her mother once again appeared, and told her that it was no longer safe for her in this mortal environment. She told Lily of a camp filled with people like her, people that were bullies and would lead the world to a war unlike any that they’ve seen, and if she did not use her powers many more would die like her father. In that moment, Lily decided that she would do whatever it took to ensure that would not happen and these demigods would be brought to heel. As Lily left the home she did not see the illusion break behind her, and her fathers very much alive body sleeping peacefully on the couch, nor did she notice the strange sheen in the eyes of the cops who came by shortly thereafter. A week later, Lily finds herself presenting herself at the gates to her future, with a thumb on a scanner, and a scheme ready to be made.[/indent] [sub][b] [color=00FFFF] Abilities[/color][/b][/sub] [sub][sup]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/sup][/sub] [i]"Did you seriously think I would leave myself exposed like that clone?"[/i] [indent][b] [color=00FFFF] DESCRIPTION[/color] ⫻[/b] As a daughter of Apate Lily’s powers have a focus on illusions, disguises, and generation of clones. [b] Human shapeshifting ⫻[/b] Lily is able to cast an illusion spell that allows her to appear to be someone else. This spell works only if Lily is able to know what a person looks like, how they act, how they talk, and more. If she just met a new person she’d be able to copy their appearance but would have trouble getting their voice right. If she got to spend a prolonged amount of time around someone she’d be able to perfectly match their look, personality, speech patterns, and even gait. This is a charm based spell so as long as Lily is able to concentrate, she’ll be able to maintain the form. To those who are not resistant to these mind spells she will truly appear to be whoever she is copying. Lily is already extremely proficient in this skill. [b]Clone ⫻[/b] Lily is able to create a perfect, illusion based clone of herself. The clone does not have any agency of their own, and they are more like an audio and visual projection of Lily as they are not physical, but they are useful for distracting someone in a pinch. Lily is talented with this ability but ultimately lacks finesse. She must maintain concentration and a visual on the clone to maintain. A lack of either will cause the clone to flicker, glitch, or just dissipate altogether. [b] Voice mimicry ⫻[/b] Lily, with time, is able to mimic the voice of those around her. Like her human shapeshifter ability, the more exposure she has to a target the more accurate she will be. A more recently developed ability for Lily, but quickly becoming a favorite, Lily is able to project her voice far away from her as if she was a ventriloquist and the target location was a dummy. She’s able to use her voice, or a voice she gains through her human shapeshifting, in this fashion without needing to cast that magic. She must maintain her focus, and concentration, at all times otherwise the voice will become distorted and weakened. [b] Ultimate lie ⫻[/b] Lily is able to lie effortlessly. So much so that no one is able to tell when she is doing it, no matter their lineage. While a child of Athena might get a gut feeling that something is off, they would still have all the indications that Lily is telling the truth.
