Souls are where you have me confused. Are souls like the unique energy pattern associated with each person bio-electric current? Or is he in line with Abyss, drawing upon a magical source of energy? Say for a soul he trades the persons remaining life force for the ability in question. the same with his 'porting. Is he basically making a wormhole where he is bending gravity to overlap and make the object in two spaces at the same time? Or perhaps you are having it similar to night crawler where he is passing through another dimension? The nanites also make me stumble in thought. As they consume souls to repair his damage, are they rebuilding the damaged tissue using the soul to recreate the matter lost? Or is it like time reversal so the wound never happened?

How does he store the souls? Is it like a bag? or a literal organ within him to allow it.
