"Ah, I see Emily told you the new name she gave me," the Crow said. "I suppose if you find that easier to refer to me as, you may call me that as well." He puffed his chest out when Ashley praised him for his foresight on gathering information. He had no idea what she meant when she mentioned searching for a 'side-hustle' but he didn't want to ruin his moment of pride by revealing gaps in his knowledge so he merely nodded in what he hoped looked like a knowing way.

"Most excellent," he said, only to hesitate when she asked about his newly attained sentience. "Oh. That." His posture deflated ever so slightly as he considered what to say. "It's been... well, it's not been that different. I suppose I'm taking more note of you humans and your routines, and I have better insight into the conversations I overhear."
