Doc sat back in the Bench. The world they where in was beautiful, and even though he was here to grind their hours away, they couldn't help but take in the scerenity of it all. The trees swaying in the breeze, the way the sunlight and shadows around town all created the shadows against light. Even in the starting village, it was nice to stop and enjoy the amount of effort the developers must have put into the little things. The trickle of the streams that went into town, the general feng shui. It all aided in soothing Doc's mind and easing the stress of grinding for a new stave. The free moment made them consider if wasting precious sleep on a game was a good idea, but they quickly lost their train of thought when a shout caught their attention. Doc turned, only to see a blur of dull colors before a strange bird-man was suddenly before them, perched on the bench like standing on a seat was normal. They swirled their staff with a confidence unexpected of a player, especially a new one. Doc could tell by the armor they wore alone that they hadn't been playing for long. He had managed to see a few glimpses of the pristine and flashy sets of armor his friends had. They looked like gilded gods amongst the peasantry when they had played with him and showed him the ropes. That felt like years ago, even if it had only been a month. Doctor_Buttz smiled softly to the stranger, looking up at them in their unusual but appreciated display of energy and guile. "Nice to meet you Geo, call me doc. I'm trying to have some fun in this world too" He stated in a plain tone, but he couldn't help but chuckle at the last statement. Trying was an understatement. He was begging to have fun, but the tedium reminded him of life outside the game more than anything. Doc moved to stand up when a box appeared on his screen. Another smaller image of mail signalled to him that he would have another one appear soon enough.
[row][cell]
Friend Request
[/cell][/row] [row][cell]
G3O_VAN Has sent you a friend request. Doctor_Buttz admired the stats for a moment, frowning a bit to see the lower level. G3O_VAN LVL: 5 HP: 25 MP: 10 Still, they weren't far off, and comparatively Geo would be a much harder hitter at the very least. The turban-wearing monk returned their gaze to the masked bird before him, nodding in approval. This would do just fine, and could greatly benefit both of them. "If it's levels you're after, I think we can both agree on that. I've been trying to get out of this starting area for a bit but well, I'm not exactly doing much on my own here." He stated simply, motioning to his lack of weaponry, then to Geo's spear. "I bet you and I could make a good team. There's a bandit hideout not too far from here. Bet there is good loot there too," He stated, pointing in the direction where his map marker glowed on his screen. "I'll keep you alive if you knock a couple heads," Doc stated before letting out an audible yawn as he spoke.
Doctor_Buttz LVL: 10 HP: 32 MP: 50
