Bridget Josephine McGalley
Interacting with: [@Psycho Sushi]
Sooner than she expected, the ship got to Nassau and the intense moving and organising started. Bridget could see everyone moving around, most of her shipmates trying to get out of the ship as soon as possible, the need to get out and fool around in a place as famous as this one making them reckless. She shook her head, as some of the man almost jumped out of the ship, laughter signaling where they were, being easily heard before seen. Even if she didn't want to admit it, trying to keep her cool and serious appearence to the others, she was almost as excited to go into town as the others were. Even if she had been travelling in the Gunpowder Storm for some time now, they had been stopping in smaller places, smaller villages or some cities that she already knew, but she had never been to the famous Nassau. As everything calmed down, she started to get down, ready to get into the music and noise of the place. She was planning to try and gather the resources she needed for cooking, as it was her task, and arrange for some porters to get everything on the ship as she discovered the village. She boarded one of the jolly boats, with a few of the others. There was some charged silence, everyone focused on their tasks and, more importantly, what to do after them. As they jumped out, Bridget was going to start exploring the place before she heard a voice. Unused to having people talk to her - apart from asking her to cook one thing or the other, of course - she turned, surprised. It was the cartographer, a girl that looked around her age, and maybe even from a similar upbringing. She'd seen her around before, but never really had any conversation. She looked at her, trying to guess what she was trying to do, but still smiled politely at her. She was educated to be nice and polite to everyone, after all. A smile and some charisma open more doors than any other key, her father would say. "Oh, hi" she started, waiting for a second to let the other girl join her. At the offer, she looked at the buildings in the coast, seeing how busy the place was and counting the time she had in her head. If she got lost doing her tasks, she wouldn't have enough time to properly enjoy the place, not even for a drink, before she had to get back. And Bridget loved the ship, but she clearly preferred to enjoy the new place when she could. And a drink, a proper drink, that was the most important part. "Actually, no, I've never been to Nassau before. I have to go get some food and other resources for the kitchen, but I'd love to get a drink. About time to have something different for a change" she said, shrugging. "Do you mind showing me where can I go shop what I need? That would be faster, and give us more time at the tavern"
