Amorey nodded, ‘[color=a8a1cd]That makes sense. I’m not surprised that such magic is here. I’ve just never seen it, it’s impressive, and kind of whimsical in a way? Like when I’d watch movies about princesses and stuff when I was a little girl,[/color]’ she smiled at the man. It was an odd sensation to be around others that wasn’t just her brother — people that would understand all the difficulties of being [i]different.[/i] The thought almost scared her a little bit. 

‘[color=a8a1cd]Yeah,[/color]’ she laughed a little while shrugging her shoulders and smiling wider. ‘[color=a8a1cd]I’ve never been much of a partier. That’s my brother's job,[/color]’ she joked but it honestly was. He was the partier of the two of them. She only went to parties when her friends dragged her out of the dorm room and brought her to some filthy frat house party. ‘[color=a8a1cd]I’m usually the type of person that likes going for walks or swimming or staying in my room and gaming or reading a book or studying or something. Not really getting drunk with a bunch of strangers,[/color]’ she confessed while looking back at the party. 

Then she looked up when Leo began to speak again and she frowned when hearing how his father wanted him to be something he didn’t want to be. ‘[color=a8a1cd]Well…[/color]’ Amorey found herself blanking. Why was it difficult to find words at times like this? She glanced down to the ground in thought before looking up to Leo — just noticing that his eyes were blue. They were pretty and they had a whirl of emotions in them at the moment, possibly anger, at least she felt like they did.  ‘[color=a8a1cd]I hope, if you do have to talk to Ares again, it goes well. I cannot imagine how it feels for a parent to want you to be something you are not, but I would say choose what your heart wants. What you want,[/color]’ she smiled in a way that showed she was trying to be encouraging and reassuring. ‘[color=a8a1cd]I think that is the best thing that you can do even if Ares is disappointed. Who cares? You’ll meet other people who care about you and who you truly are.[/color]’ 

‘[color=a8a1cd]Thank you so much,[/color]’ she was almost too excited when she reached for the map. Why was she so excited about this? But she remembered how she was when she was packing up and heading out to the dorms. When she got to that dorm and opened the door, she was overjoyed to have some independence. Her own area. She loved her mother, tolerated her brother, and so on… but it was always nice to have different things. Then the air seemed to get heavy as if something was changing. She glanced up from the map when Leo broke the small amount of silence. ‘[color=a8a1cd]I don’t want to keep you from the party at all. I know you said you weren’t much of a party-goer but I understand the enjoyment around getting to know people. However, if you want to join me, I would love for you to,[/color]’ Amorey didn’t mind if he wanted to come along. She doubted that the cabin would be that impressive and probably looked like everyone else’s, right? 

‘[color=a8a1cd]So, do I just pick one? Like, do I go to it, and then that one is mine?[/color]’ Amorey didn’t know how this all worked and she felt kind of stupid for having to ask too.
