I'm concocting a universe and some lore to bring this all together.

Thinking early days of space travel. Haven't got too far yet. 
Human race has a home planet, secondary planet and a failed planet.
There are space stations though, floating about, and perhaps an alien humanoid race.

But worldshapping aside, to join you all together, if Violet's company is doing something, or just is financially of interest to Cyrus, or perhaps seeking him for funding, then that can bring them together for a meeting.

Perhaps it can be taxing on the company when the CEO occasionally becomes a powerful little child. (Or maybe that leads to their innovations) 

If Elmore is open to working for Cyrus, some connection or mutual bonding over shadows.

Darya, desperate for work, recently hired by Violet after her last pilot had enough and quit.
