Conner looked up from his reading and, sure enough, the doors of Eon Tower were opening. Stashing his book, he rose to his feet and joined the other newly arrived as a man and a woman, named Ruecien and Rozemyne respectively, introduced themselves before leading the group inside. As they walked, Conner and Welk took the grand interior, the marble pillars and decorative windows offering a stunning view as the approached the central area.

[color=00aeef][i]Don't what?[/i][/color], thought Conner in reply, briefly turning his attention to his spirit companion.

[color=fdc68a][i]Don't even think about calling Zoe. She'll want to look at every nook and cranny up and down this place.[/i][/color]

[color=00aeef][i]We're in the middle of orientation, Welk! I'm not gonna have Zoe wander off right now.[/i][/color]

Rolling his eyes, Conner turned his attention back toward the front, just in time to be introduced to the staff of Eon Tower. There was an unexpected arrival, however, as four women appeared before the group via magical circles. One of them drew Conner's attention.

[color=00aeef][i]Welk, is it just me or does one of them look...familiar?[/i][/color]

[color=00aeef][i]...Welk?[/i][/color]

[color=fdc68a][i]...Wrong.[/i][/color]

Hearing that odd statement, Conner turned to Welk, only to be surprised to find nature spirit's fur bristled, his body shaking as he stared at the four women.

[color=00aeef]"Welk, what's wrong?"[/color], the young man asked out loud, now concerned. [color=00aeef]What do you mean when you said that?[/color]

[color=fdc68a][i]I...I can't really explain it. All I know is that my instincts are telling me that there is something very...OFF about those four. They're causing every kind of alarm to go off in my head. I...I can't focus like this. Permission to dip out, boss?[/i][/color]

[color=00aeef]"You never have to ask, you know that. Go right ahead."[/color]

With the go ahead, Welk leapt off Conner's shoulder and vanished, returning to the spirit realm to, no doubt, inform the others of what he had seen. Conner, on the other hand, was left puzzled. Usually, when a spirit is [b]that[/b] spooked, that means a very dangerous spiritual threat was nearby. In other words...

Questions abound but for now, introductions needed to be made.

Still, his briefly lingered on one of the four women.
