Maybe I was unclear in my sheet (didnt think I was but thats how miscommunication works) because it does mention that the short term aim is to get to Earth as opposed to sticking to wider Guardians storylines. In my defence on the no-contact thing my aim for the Guardians sheet goes back as far as the interest checks (not including the previous version of the sheet) plus given the sheet was under review for quite a length of time I sort of thought that was ample time for it to be read and reacted to, especially given how far back me bringing up this idea goes I'd have thought any major complaints in the form of an 'oh God no' etc would have been presented before this. Not saying I maybe handled this the best way but just my thought process on that. I don't want to be the reason someone doesnt play a character but it doesn't feel reflective of what I've written so far in my sheet and post to suggest my Kara 'wouldnt' be a Metropolis character in a relatively short time span. I don't think its helping my sense of being a bit ambushed that this was obviously considered in collaboration but yet I didn't make the cut for that. If people want a more traditional Supergirl/Powergirl split I can probably still have fun with that I'd just really rather stray away from the idea of confirming which one is the 'real' Kara or not if we do play that out.
