I don't want to be the reason someone doesnt play a character but it doesn't feel reflective of what I've written so far in my sheet and post to suggest my Kara 'wouldnt' be a Metropolis character in a relatively short time span. I don't think its helping my sense of being a bit ambushed that this was obviously considered in collaboration but yet I didn't make the cut for that. If people want a more traditional Supergirl/Powergirl split I can probably still have fun with that I'd just really rather stray away from the idea of confirming which one is the 'real' Kara or not if we do play that out.
My two cents is this: I did not intend to ambush you or put your interpretation into question. I thought I was familiar with every sheet in the game and didn't see Kara's name in the GOTG roster spot. That's on me and nobody else. When I made my character in collaboration I tend to always ask my parent character's (through DMs or otherwise) for their consent of approval and I do have a working relationship with Andy in games that stretches back quite some time. Whatever it takes for both of us to be able to have fun (if accepted) I will do. Insofar on the group dynamic, my perspective of the two Kara's conceptually is everyone comes from different Krypton's potentially so the traditional alternate dimension Kara (Power Girl) and same timeline Kara (Supergirl) seem largely not in play. I believe also both our Kara's have different goals, as I never intended my Kara to even be looking for Kal-El in the first place. However us three want to develop on there would be fun and interesting. We are in a scenario that allows for more interpretation and variation then traditional games in the past would allow. If my concept is still a non-factor, I will find something else to do, but in terms of heavy collaboration characters I admit I don't have a lot of options.
