Well-dressed, emotions in check, and an exquisite taste for all that he consumes. He maintains a cold and serious demeanor with little room for humor or niceties. Still, there is something depraved, even savage, that hides deep beneath the surface. A monster that enjoys nothing more than blood, flooded with adrenaline, dopamine, and endorphins. A human life means nothing more than a source of nourishment, as he’s long forgotten what it means to be one of them. His loyalty to Magnus Corvane and the Crimson Circle remains unwavering while he nearly worships their standing in Halcyon. Some would deem him a zealot, but Tobias would simply claim he is merely loyal. He looks down upon Lycans as well, but not only them, but vampires who have failed to bend the knee. It was during this final skirmish that he found himself captured along with those he called brothers and sisters, and it was during their confinement that he gave them one chance— one choice. They could either swear themselves to him or get the chance to hopelessly challenge him. Before he could bend the knee to Magnus Corvane, he already considered himself in service to him, for he was not an elder who kept his position for power or greed– Magnus Corvane kept it because he recognized it was he who would lead their kind to dominion. After joining the Crimson Circle, Tobias realized he was now following a true visionary and leader into the dusk. His loyalty and dedication was rewarded, and there was argument or discussion on whether he had earned his place amongst the elders of the Inner Circle when enough decades had passed. The extended time alive also gave rise to craving for a specific flavor of blood— let’s be honest, it’s more of an obsession. Magnus being privy of this “craving,” gave his trusted member of his Inner Circle the opportunity to indulge as he liked by choosing Tobias to be the one to deal with the Crimson Circle’s captives as either a delicacy or subject for forceful “conversion.” Currently, Tobias usually runs The Red Note, hosting other vampires sharing a similar status as himself. On the surface, it is a calm sophisticated jazz lounge filled with the wellknown or the “well-aged” of his kind, but beneath its waxed hardwood floors lie countless dark cells filled with wailing, tortured captives used to supply blood to the patrons.
