Bridget Josephine McGalley
Interacting with: [@Psycho Sushi]
"Well, I sure hope so, or someday I'll end up dropped in some island" she joked with the other girl, smirking back at her. In all her time in the ship, Bridget had been more of an observer than a real shipmate, her own mistrust stopping her from really getting to know the others, while she kept an image of a serious and cold young girl. She was somewhat getting tired of that, and this surprising approach of the cartographer could be a way to insert herself into the life of their ship. The city surely felt completely different from what she was used to: dirty streets, worse looking pirates, and a tobacco smell that could easily get the people not used to it to get dizzy. Getting to the crowded place, she grabbed her purse, taking special care of the coin the captain gave her for her task, nodding to awknowledge what Isabella said to her. Soon they were in what looked like the shopping district, shops offering the most interesting varieties and treasures, both legal and illegal objects occupying the different tables of vendors. Walking some more, it turned into a proper market, the meat being their first stop. Bridget analysed the little shop, the produce there, thinking quickly how much would they need for their trip, and what would be better to use. The best idea would be to get some chicken, taking the complete animal, and cleaning it herself to use as much as possible. Vegetables an fruits were easy to find in their stops, but meat was harder to come by, so this was a good time to get some. She got a few chickens, and some salted pork to keep for longer. "Not that much, but doesn't look any better there" she muttered back to the girl as she bought everything. "I'll have to work soon and get some basic things done, but it's good enough, and pretty cheap" she started walking to the next vendor, one with different preserves and some vegetables. Probably that could be the place to get everything else. She bought some basic ingredients, mainly salt, spices and basic relishes and some jams, useful to give flavour to the basic diet they have on the ship. After arranging everything to get delivered to the ship, she finally turned to the spaniard. "So... that should be everything for now. Now it's finally time to get to a tavern. Or do you need to buy something for your maps?"
