Having been kidnapped by Overhaul, she remains with him out of fear and to help protect Eri. Because of her powerful blood manipulation quirk, Overhaul uses her blood along with Eri's to help create powerful quirk canceling weapons. She escapes from Overhaul, unable to take Eri with her. She joins up in the UA program program in hopes of rescuing Eri and becoming as strong as she can be.
