Ah! You have found me out with the Highwayman! Yes, the heroine of the tale would be the landlord's black eyed daughter, and the upshot of this story is that we have an ending pre set as our goal. The downside is that the ending is... well... an upwards shot. Still there is far more than enough in the time period and the characters to make merry!
