Fujiwara no Mokou
Level 6 9/60 EXP Location: Frozen Highlands - Krat Zoo Wordcount: 668(+1 EXP) As the various attacks were launched against Tom, Mokou simply drifted around in the air, her hands in her pockets whilst feathers rained from the sky, her eyes narrowed as she took in the damage being dealt. As expected, the beast was extremely durable, with her own feathers hardly even registering on the beast despite the constant hits. She’d have to hit considerably harder to get any mileage, which was annoying, enough that Mokou let out a sigh of frustration. With a flap of her wings, Mokou began to dive closer to the beast just as Sandalphon threw their Frost Lock. It takes less than a second for Mokou to understand the purpose of the Frost Lock once she sees the beast frozen solid, diverting her dive to instead move to Tom’s side, one where the other Seekers would not be in the crossfire. While Mokou was hardly that close, she was close enough that the beast would face the full brunt of her attack.
[Undying "Fire Bird -Feng Wing Ascension-"]
A wave of light erupts from Mokou, the one warning anyone would have gotten before a massive torrent of fiery projectiles of various sizes erupted from the air around Mokou. Though hard to see, it wasn’t just a random attack either, but instead a beautiful spectacle, with each type of projectile following their own pattern. Of course, that was secondary to the fact that each and every one directly hit the frozen alligator’s side. Were it not for the freeze and its own size, it was likely that a good portion would still end up missing. A fact that did not help Tom as it was unfrozen, and while each projectile may not have done much on their own, the combined force practically tore through Tom’s strength, causing it to roar out and recoil in pain before sinking into the water. With that, Mokou’s hands return to their pockets, the Phoenix floating away from where Tom had sunk, her expression completely neutral despite the situation. Mokou had a bit of understanding on how durable creatures of this size could be, and did not at all expect it to be properly dead. And of course, it did not stay down, erupting from the water mere moments later to recontinue its charge towards the Stagecoach. Instinctively, Mokou sighed heavily, turning to the rest of the group, “I’d recommend taking a step back if you can! Not going to get a second warning!” Mokou called out as she floated back, taking a moment to roll her shoulders. It was a bit fast to use a trick like this, but since the beast had eaten two folks, it was better to end it quicker. And burning her tolerance was at least worth that. As the alligator charged, Mokou’s hands left her pockets, her entire body beginning to glow… Not just with power, but with sheer heat as well. Starting with a yellow aura, before quickly shifting to a bright white, as orange flames circled around her, and soon enough the phoenix’s form was gone, replaced by nothing more than a miniature sun, hovering in the air, forming within moments. For a second, it lingered there… Before shooting out with a massive bang, launching directly towards Tom’s head like a missile, leaving a streak of flames in its wake. Once the phoenix’s new form collided with the beast’s other eye, everything seemed to still for a moment. Then everything erupted, literally, as a massive fireball exploded from Tom’s face, the force knocking it off its charge and flames leaving the side of its face charred black, its durable hide the only thing leaving it without an eye, rather than with a blown open skull. Yet, when the flames dispersed, there was not a trace of Mokou left aside from a few scattered embers. Though, one in particular moved in an odd way, floating up into the air rather than to the ground, slowly glowing brighter with time.
