Hello, and welcome to my little corner, where we will do the roleplaying stuff and things. Before moving onto anything else, I should address the elephants in the proverbial room. As a start, I do not do fandom RPs of any kind. This isn't because I think they're bad or anything, but more that I don't feel I can do canon characters justice. On a similar, but also different note, I do not, under any circumstances, do RPs that take place in a mundane, modern setting similar to our reality. This is primarily because fantasy infects all my ideas to some degree and I can't turn it off. The other reason is ordinary modern settings bore me. Sure, slice of life moments are fine, but if the whole setting is just a reflection of the real world, I want nothing to do with it. Anyway, if I haven't scared anyone off yet, welcome. I got my roleplaying sea legs in an old Pokemon forum back in 2010 or so, but that site is sadly long since dead. Since then, one can argue I've been a wanderer in the rift, occasionally coming back to doing RPs from time to time when the mood strikes, and now here we are. So with basic introductions out of the way, let's get down to business. -Before getting to anything else, I will say right away that I am only seeking 18+ partners, for themes that may or may not happen. I will be circling back to this point shortly. -I would say that I fall into the 1-3 paragraph range. It depends on the scene and what's going on in it, though. One liners, are a no go, though...unless a character is saying a witty one liner like Sonic the Hedgehog. -I have long since come to face the reality that ghosting is a thing that could eventually happen. Real life has priority, people forget things and end up not wanting a confrontation and vanish instead, interest wanes. If it happens, it happens. I probably won't take it personally. -Going back to my previous line about "things that may or may not happen," it's time for the next elephant in the room. The matter of smut. Now, I'm not totally ruling it out, but I don't want smut to be the focus. If it happens, it happens, but if it doesn't, it doesn't. I'd rather it not be shoehorned in for the sake of it. Fade to black or not, I don't mind either way. -I cannot promise "replies x times a week" of any sort. I'm more of a "when the muse comes" type, which may be a turn off to some. I do have other hobbies and things I do with my time, and I don't like making promises I can't keep. I do tend to lurk around and think about how I'm going to reply when I'm out and about, though. -As I've been slowly working on this post, I realized there is a 3rd elephant in the room. While yes, I can play male or female characters, I will add on that when it comes to MxM specifically, I will only do platonic relationships. This is more a preference than anything else, but at the same time, sometimes a friendship between bros is better than a romance plot. At least in my opinion. Anyway, I think I did enough yapping. If I forgot something, that's a problem for future me to deal with. For now, let's get to the reason we're all here, and that's plots. Some are older ones while a couple are newer ones. As stated before, fantasy finds a way in all my ideas, even if they sound mundane at points. Without further delay, the plots.
The town of Auxier was an ordinary place where the residents lived their normal lives. Behind the veil, however, the town itself is a hotbed of supernatural activity, namely cases involving vampires. Between people being found dead in their homes with their blood drained and shady comings and goings from downtown, vampires secretly live among the human population of the town. To many vampires, humans are below them and serve as nothing more than food, but not all think this way. Among the vampires in town is a group seeking unity between humans and vampires. A group that works with the local police to take care of vampire related trouble. They are the Vampire Brotherhood. The operations of the Vampire Brotherhood vary heavily from goofy things like water gun showdowns and camping trips to more serious cases like defeating an ancient vampire whose soul was sealed away in the park's old shrine and busting an auction of human blood slaves for high society vampires. The group's leader hopes to fulfill his dream of a unified world, but such a goal is incredibly lofty with the tension between humans who know of the existence of vampires and those high up in power in the supernatural world. Some even say impossible.

Pairing: MxF, Modern Fantasy Rumor has it that a mysterious necklace had been dug up from some old ruins. While the item's effect was not identified right away, it was quickly sold off to a rich man as a gift to his daughter, Y/C. Over the span of a couple of weeks, the rich man's personality had undergone changes while oddly enough, Y/C appeared to suffer no negative effects from having the artifact. To several interested parties, such information led to action. From the shadows of the criminal underworld, a cult emerged in hopes of snatching up the artifact for some sort of ritual. In hopes of not only stopping this cult but also putting the artifact somewhere safe, another group began to make moves by arranging a deal with the rich man in exchange for the artifact. Such a deal would require time to go through, and with the cult looking for any chance to wipe out Y/C and steal the artifact, a bodyguard was needed. Enter M/C, recruited mostly without choice to guard Y/C until the deal is finalized. The arranged plan would have the pair take lodging at a forest cabin for three days until the deal is completed, at which time the artifact will be handed off and the pair will go their separate ways. But would such a deal really be so easy? Will the cult really sit back and do nothing while they lose the item they're after? I think the fact this is modern fantasy needs no introduction. Like a majority of the above ideas, think "modern world with supernatural powers and things of that nature." Things like secret organizations and cults in the criminal underground are very much a thing in this world, hidden from ordinary folks. This could be an acquaintances to friends/lovers plot, but reaching the point of lovers may not be so easy.

Pairing: FxM, Modern Fantasy While the world has come to accept the marvels of modern technology, in the country of Ustera, the land is primarily governed by a number of noble houses. Each of the ten noble houses controls part of the country's territory and have a habit of butting heads. Things only escalated when members of each house have been turning up dead. With no clues who the murderer is, the noble houses work to keep the situation under wraps from the public, but things only get worse when the sole daughter of House Shaltir went missing after being informed she would be married to the heir of the nearby House Caulburn, all in hopes of strengthening their houses. Such an idea came from House Shaltir's new chancellor, a short man wearing two hats named Cole. The new chancellor gained the favor of almost all of Houses Shaltir and Caulburn in short time, becoming a well trusted individual. Despite not officially being allowed to investigate the murders of Ustera's nobles, the Adventurer's Guild sent out someone to look into the situation. At the time, she didn't know about the shadows that lurked in Shaltir territory. She was attacked by the local knights after originally having been confused for the missing daughter of House Shaltir due to their similar appearances, only for a man wearing two hats to strike her from behind with lightning and knock her unconscious. Chancellor Cole was, in reality, a demon, and he was hoping to use an arranged marriage between the daughter of House Shaltir and the heir of House Caulburn, whose family were distant blood reletives to a demon tribe, to revive his master and cause chaos and destruction throughout the world. When House Shaltir's daughter went missing, his plans had been derailed, but with a woman who bares similarities to the original, things are back in action. Before I elaborate, if you know where I got Chancellor Cole from, you deserve a cookie. Anyway, this is a "sort of arranged marriage" plot, with a murderer running around on the side. Believe it or not, no, Cole has nothing to do with that. Yet at the same time, Y/C's bride to be isn't actually the real deal. What their relationship was in the past can be discussed, whether they were friends, enemies, even secret lovers, but now that the real bride is gone and replaced with an imposter while Cole pulls the strings around this wedding, how will things play out?

Pairing: MxF, Modern Fantasy/Post Apocalypse At a time, the world was normal. While there were creatures born from the Witch Queen's magic, vampires and werewolves, humans were the dominant species, with the werewolves being relegated to their own communities in the forest while the vampires hung in the shadows of the world. Many vampires preyed on humans, but among them, one such vampire, touched by the kindness of a human, sought to seek unity between humans and vampires. Such a goal, however, would be impossible to truly achieve, so long as there were humans who hated and even hunted vampires and vampires who saw humans as lesser. Even so, the man persisted and even gathered allies. That man, however, carried a doomed fate. Implanted with a magical curse shortly after his birth, alongside a cursed prophecy. "The twin dragons will devour the sun and plunge the world into an age of darkness." During his time in the town of Auxier, the man contracted a second curse, one born from the Witch Queen and implanted in a legendary, immortal knight. This curse slowly destroyed the man's original personality, turning him into a cruel and evil vampire who had become a slave to his curses. As the prophecy fortold, he unleashed his first curse and unleashed the twin flame dragons sealed within him, allowing them to devour the sun and plunge the world into darkness. The town of Auxier became the ground zero for the new world, a World of Flames. Without the sun, vampires could unleash their full might at all times and mercilessly hunted humans. All out war quickly broke out and ruined the world even further. Humans were forced underground and made new communities there. The hatred between humans and vampires widened so much, many on both sides only viewed the other as an enemy to destroy. It had become the polar opposite of the world the man hoped to create. The man himself, having long since lost his original self, became the new Hellfire King, ruler of the World of Flames. He ruled with a cruel iron fist, destroying humans and vampires alike who opposed him. Large rebellions were quickly wiped away by his army, and the twin dragons under his command. Even so, humans had a resilience no other beings had, and managed to survive even in a dangerous world without a sun. Five years after the day the sun was devoured, a man with hair like fire made his way to a certain place in what was known as the Origin Point, formerly the town of Auxier. This man was the Hellfire King himself, but something was off about him. The man who should've lost his sense of self had somehow regained his original personality, despite the twin curses. On that particular day, however, a small rebel group just happened to be in combat with a small vampire group in the Origin Point. The man who had been responsible for the world's ruin now sought to repair the damage he caused, but can the fractured trust between humans and vampires ever be restored, even enough to try fixing the ruined world? This is a post apocalypse idea taking place in the same universe as The Vampire Brotherhood, but with a bad ending where the world is brought to ruin. The general idea would be between the Hellfire King, restored to his original personality even though the Hellfire King still exists within him and a member of the human rebel faction. Naturally, this will very much be a "starting as enemies" scenario, but that could change depending on how things play out. Things could be platonic, they could become lovers, who knows?

Paradox, an organization in the shadows whose goal is to keep the mundane world split from the magical world. They maintain the peace in a world where humans have the potential to gain magical abilities, some of whom are brought into the fold and trained to manage and control their abilities. From Agents, who work as the footmen of the organization to the Knights, handpicked members by the leaders of Paradox, the Lords. With the rising of The Syndicate, run by a man simply named King, the tides were slowly beginning to shift. Various other factions and individuals unaffiliated with Paradox had also begun making moves. This one is more of a vague idea than anything else. More like a "series of disconnected cases broken up by slice of life moments while the main plot creeps around in the shadows until it comes crashing in like the Kool-Aid Man. The basic idea would be our characters are members of Paradox, trying to live (seemingly) normal lives while dealing with supernatural cases along the way.

At a time, humans were at the bottom of the food chain. Various creatures lived in the land of Asemel, from goblins and kobolds, to the rarest of all, dragons. These races all had their own advantages that put them above humans, but everything changed one day. A saint appeared, having been chosen by a goddess. This very same goddess entrusted humanity with power to fight their oppressors, giving them an incredible upper hand. After a large scale conflict and thanks to the gift of power from the goddess, humanity turned the table and became the top of the food chain. From there, a vast majority of the various other races were lumped together as "monsters" and viewed by the humans as lessers. With the power granted to them, they had nothing to fear and quickly began to abuse their power to either mistreat or even enslave the monster races for their own ends. Monsters came to hate humans, but that had only been the beginning. In the mountains, one of the incredibly rare dragons was attacked by a strange group led by a mage in black. With a strange lantern, he had managed to shut down the dragon's source of power, the dragonstone, and snatch it away. Taking advantage of the dragonstone's immense magical energy, the humans used it to advance their technology further, but this only drove them to want more. Monster hunts began to become a norm, mistreatment of those who weren't human increased, and overall, those gifted by the goddess had become worse than the monsters who ruled the land before them. As for the dragon, taking on a humanoid form, they began their long search for their missing dragonstone, hoping to find and eliminate the mage who stole it.
And for fun, here is also a list of generic pairings.
Vampire x Human Princess x Knight Princess x Mercenary Teacher x Student Vampire x Werewolf Adventurers Student x Student Detective x Assistant Villain x Hero Childhood Friends
More ideas will be added later. Please take all potential RP inquiries to PM instead of on this thread. Anyway, I thank you for reading and hope you have a fantastic day or night.
