Interacting with: [@Dark Light] [hr] His words didn’t seem to deter Gen in any way, after all, how could she see being in the ship of such a ruthless band of people freedom? Well, for starters, she has actually met other people. She can speak any language she wants, buy what she wants, what she needs, she isn’t locked in a pitch black cellar for over 18 hours in the day, not forced to do something unimportant. Freedom now is what she makes it. She could dive into the sea one day, let her world grow dark, and wouldn’t that be freeing as well? But Genevieve only hums, looking into the shop before entering, leaning in the doorway, holding the door open. She could tell he was finished with the conversation, and she didn’t mind not delving into her past, so she only nods, “I suppose your are probably right,” she hums before shifting to look around in the store. She didn’t give him something to look for for a moment until she reiterates the list she needs in her mind. “I need some medical thread, maybe a few bandages if you could?” She asks Kenji softly before turning to look for bandages first. She figured that giving him something surgeons use often as well would be simple. As she looks around the ship, the wooden floor creaking each step, chatter from outside filling her ears as she thinks. Genevieve supposed there was another reason she joined the crew. One she obviously wouldn’t share. Not yet. Not here. It was simple though. Her parents have no chance in finding her if she never stayed in one place. And if she were in a crew such as this, they certainly wouldn’t try to take her back. She, got only a brief moment, recalls the sorrowful look in Kenjis eyes a minute ago. What was it for? What happened to him? She sighs, scolding herself internally. It’s not her business and she sure as hell didn’t want to pry open something she wasn’t apart of.
