i agree with all of your points except the one about the Tailed Beasts, I think it is quite easy to make it so their hosts are not overpowered. just make it so anyone who wants to be a Jinchūriki can't have any Bloodline techniques and have limited amounts of Jutsus to compensate for having a Tailed Beast. also they have limited control.
