Thankful the attention was safely put away from Leah and Sabine potentially marrying, Percy and Dorian began speaking to each other in other languages. She happened to catch some French in there before Dorian tacklehugged Percy somewhere else. Sabine didn't need it painted for her to know what those two would be up to. April appeared to enjoy it also and it warmed Sabine up to see her smile again. After a lot of pain (especially from her) it was nice to be together and not have some major catastrophe happening.

And then another noise shot through the room. Something Sabine hadn't heard before. What was it? Laughter surely, but from an unusual source. Sabine turned to see Leah cracking up. For the first time in a while (possibly ever) Leah was laughing and seemingly enjoying herself? 

Sabine had to mark this day down. It was one for the books.

Sabine turned to face Danni, noticing some uncomfortable feelings evident on his face (on top of the fire).
