CS.
Name Retired Captain Sir Jonathan Le Mariner - Vilkas. “Vlad Tepid” Looking like the count, but Dracula would have been far too much of an honour, Vlad Tepid cemented after he screwed up a brew up in Norway. Gender. Male Nationality. British, mother fled cold war Romania. Height 5'11 feet tall. Was 6’2 at 18 but.. military life is rough on your back. Age. 43. Born 1971. Role In Team. Rifleman, sabotage and ungentlemanly warfare. Appearance Tall, dark haired into grey, cut short, sharp features , roman nose, and with a cold pair of eyes that dark grey. Wears glasses to read, and always carries tea. No tattoos. Built strongly but not flashy and leaner than he was when younger. Taller as was but military life takes a rather toll on the body, not quite as fit and able as in his true prime but still capable of keeping up with even men and women younger than he is. Built more robustly but not overly muscular or showy, but solid and in good physical fitness for his age. Has signs of injury that affects his legs until he got rehabilitation and marks remain but not the damage. Dresses smartly in civilian wear where possible. Military wear is almost always the same set up if possible. Creature of habit. Favours a rather sanitised uniform, no patches, no visible tattoo even if he had any, almost too boring to have been a regular soldier. Economical and unfussy.

Bio Born in ScotIsh highlands, his father had married a Romanian woman who had fled the cold war into the west. He has a sister who survived the fall by sheer virtue of being on holiday but her home and everything she owned was lost. She was the academic one whereas he was much more practical and already was a hunter by the time he was a late teen and downed several deer. The outside, nature and the whole being out in the wide open wilderness was exhilarating. The idea of a desk job did not appeal and he was not sure what to do, so he found himself calling the request stop for the Royal marines Commando selection at 18, he was old enough to join without any permissions needed. Successful, he ended up passing high enough to score officer potential some paperwork later he managed to commit to a longer term and a place at Sandhurst. Arctic warfare was tough, cold.. Norway was a rather unforgiving crucible of humanity, ice, snow and hard rock. tapped to consider, SBS came next and the grueling and brutally difficult selection. Multiple months of extreme effort and then even more of training before he even deployed. The first of multiple tours in known campaigns, shadow campaigns in places not publicly known including Iraq. even more secretive work dawned as he retired to join SIS and the much more shady direct action office. Choosing an alternative role he was drawn into working for the diplomatic services, restoring connections, though the messengers were well capable of handling business directly as needed. At the same time he undertook much rehabilitation and regained fitness with a lot of hard work. Bored, this work was not exactly what he considered him… He had nothing against it and a friend from German special ops said they needed people and gave him a recommendation. The rest is now, a suit swapped for boots again. This life and a happy marriage did not last, though he still mourned her death when London was hit in the Heaven fall event. Analysis Not a war Junkie but not exactly comfortablein hisbretirement, he had nothing against joining and desk work never suited. He could have risen in the ranks but going above Captain meant he had to lose time in the direct action and more time in the back offices. Reason recruited. On a recommendation as a experienced former special forces officer, SIS and other work he had a strong sabotage and skill set in non standard warfare tactics. Service history 20 years Approximate. Royal marines Chomando, Artic warfare advanced training and commissioned as a LT having passed Sandhurst academy. Deployed and did several larger training and military exercises. volunteered and was selected for SBS, served as special forces officer and deployed in multiple hot spots both public and covert. Selected by SIS, inducted into their direct action unit. Retires a Captain in the British Military. Operates in a classified Unit for British intelligence establishment. After an Injury takes a post as a King's messenger, works as a secure diplomatic courier helping to relink the country globally. During this time Extensive rehabilitation after injury, due to a leg injury taken on SIS service. Bored, wearing A suit and flying business class with classified documents is not for him. Was recruited based on a comrade from German special forces recommending him. Sister, a lawyer and working for the reformed bank of England. Ex Wife. Deceased. Heaven fall London. Misc During the chaos of haven fall he survived by being out of area as he was on deployment. On return he joined “Knight fall” a group who involved surviving military, Police, SIS, civilians and others who worked to quiet orders to remove the very worst from the board or destabilise the largest hostile groups preventing the reconstruction of the state. Not proud work but work none the less. The groups name came from the old castle they used a base, practical against the lesser dangers with thick walls and room to shelter their strength. Always carries tea and a brew kit on missions. Ambidextrous shooter but right handed to write etc.
