As soon as the curious Verdant heard Vesemir approving the small detour to check the treasure and Jazdia's directions, she immediately went ahead, not needing illumination thanks to her dark vision. Miwa couldn't help but let out a giggle for a brief moment as she saw the adorable Verdant scurrying ahead to find the treasure... Until she realized she was pretty much alone and immediately got a bit worried. Thankfully, Akari volunteered to send one of her clones as well... Whether she was worried about Verdant or also curious about the treasure was something Miwa didn't know... Although somehow she wasn't that comfortable with both Verdant and Akari's clone being alone in the dark in a rather dangerous place...

After Fia conjured a small ball of light to help Akari's clone, it set off, running. It didn't take long until one of her clones relayed the information that both she and Verdant had arrived on the treasure room. Regardless of the somewhat dubious first impressions Akari gave regarding how seriously she took her job, Miwa had to admit she was quite effective at her job.
With that said, the little joke Stepan let out and the following exchange with Akari didn't help make Miwa any more relaxed with the situation.

[color=6ecff6]"You say your clones can be easily replaced... But that isn't true for little Verdant, is it?"[/color] Miwa said, a bit worried as she looked down the dark path Akari's clone set off running. 

Fortunately, it didn't take long until an excited Verdant came back to the group, happily raising a chest above her head, making Miwa let out a relieved sigh, followed by a gentle smile.

[color=6ecff6]"That's definitely good news. Especially because... you know... Chests in a dungeon... On most stories, things like these [i]always[/i] come with either traps or ambushes. You should rely on us a bit more. Running head first towards a possibly dangerous situation is never a good idea."[/color] Miwa said, delicately lecturing Verdant.

[color=6ecff6]"With that said, good job!"[/color] Miwa said, raising her hand as she instinctively went to pet Verdant, before quickly hesitating and pulling back, realizing what she was almost about to do.

"I must admit, these clones are [i]very[/i] versatile. Almost scarily so. I assume spying and reconnaissance missions were one of the things you excel at, right?"[/color] Miwa said, praising Akari.

Rezello's words did raise an interesting point though.

[color=6ecff6]"That is true... Considering what we know about these eyeless creatures, I don't think these creatures are intelligent enough to know the value of gold... Maybe they just went after something shiny? But if that was true, they would just be piled somewhere... Not neatly stored in a chest."[/color] Miwa said curiously.
