In the same breath, it held out a hand, gesturing for the bird to come to them with a cocky sounding mechanical noise, a challenge that the Farfetch’d was quick to answer. For Vivian, she was engrossed with the battle. She didn’t expect to get such a powerhouse Pokemon as her starter, but Atlas’ performance was spectacular… Even if they were seeming to ignore her, a fact that got pushed aside thanks to Atlas’ results. Yet as she stood there in awe of her mechanized starter, Vivian’s eyes focused on the Farfetch’d’s leek, or more specifically, the dark energy that surrounded it, her mind rapidly combing through the information she knew, “Hold on, that energy seems to be some sort of dark power. That’s generally tied to Dark type classifications. Most ruins are inhabited by Pokemon largely classified as Ghosts and Psychics, and there is history of certain other species attacking ruins and stealing from it, and those species are generally classified as Darks. Which would then mean that-” “OhnoAtlasdodgebeforethathitsyou!” Vivian shouted, waving her arms at intense speeds to try and get her partner’s attention. Yet it was all for naught as Atlas was too focused on the incoming attack to listen. And if a machine could smile, it would be obvious that Atlas was at this moment. Seeing the dark energy flowing through the leek, Atlas responded by stepping forward, his core glowing brightly as fire formed around their fists. Atlas would not run: He would meet his foe’s blow head on. Atlas gathers their own strength and uses Fire Punch to directly counter the Night Slash. Vivian, meanwhile, fails to give advice and instead covers her eyes so she doesn’t have to see the horror about to unfold.
