At least he was making a good living off of being a bouncer at the best-known club in San Esclapa. Henry put on his coat and grabbed his backpack and started walking home, and he let his mind drift off a bit as cars zoomed past him, he knew he was making good money, but was it really enough to fill that God-shaped hole in his heart? He never wanted a relationship ever, since he thinks that would distract him a lot from his goals, he'd save all that mushy romantic stuff for later. But would he ever fulfill his goals, even without dating? Henry decided not to think anymore on the matter, he had other important issues to take care of anyway. He soon reached his rundown apartment, it was kinda sketchy, but he called it home at this point, anything he can do to stay away from his family. He knew that Morgan must've been asleep already or making dinner for the both of them, they weren't in a relationship, but they were fine as friends, besides, Henry never wanted to make things weird for him and Morgan, she was better off with someone else other than him anyway. He unlocked the door and hung his coat on the coat rack, he laid down on the couch and turned on the TV, hoping the mindless droning of the news would put him to sleep, his body was still buzzing with the energy from the club, Henry always ended up like that after every shift. "Hen, you home?" Morgan's tired voice called from her bedroom. "Yeah, I'm about to sleep," Henry called back, stretching his arms over his head. Morgan didn't respond, she probably just fell asleep. Henry found himself not able to sleep though, just staring at the ceiling. Henry looked at the TV, he caught a glimpse of the news saying something about Bill Clinton thinking of reimagining the American government in a new way, all of the policies they rambled off seemed so damn wrong... "Holy shit, Mo, come look at this!" Henry yelled at Morgan. "What...?" she mumbled as she got out of her bedroom and looked at the TV, her jaw dropped as much as Henry's did. What was America going to become?
