Kinda hard to focus on the details when you're fighting for your life." Geo would nod along. "There was this one weird boss in "Lost souls the reckoning I believe? It's more of a pirate fantasy rpg type of deal." "Anyhow, there's these raiders on the second level that can be very annoying if you encounter them. Essentially they're really fast with a dagger. But the annoying part is, if you don't notice they have a hand behind their back, they can catch you off guard with smoke-bomb to block your vision. Then the fight can be really nasty." Geo semi-ranted. "But the weirdest thing of all about them is. They wear their eye patches upside down, and after the smoke-bomb the eye patch switches sides!" Geo had been rather talkative and outgoing thus far. He was enjoying the walk and a bit of a playful ramble here and there. Also was just genuinely enjoying someone joining the experience with him. Just genuinely happy to have someone there, being solo in an mmo can be fun but rather lonely. Not to mention fighting decent bosses would be a challenge to downright impossible as a solo player depending. "What was that movie... uh..." "Uh, I uh.. yes! I am the Shaolin monk of the eastern turtle temple, and I have come to establish my own new chamber of shaolin training after ascending in the eight fold path." Geo shifted his voice deeper into a somber tone. Trying to hold back the silly smile slipping across his lips. "Probably helps as much as those types that get addicted to uh.. BeatSaber probably. I'm confident enough to not whack myself on purpose! Although I have missed a catch one or twice." Geo would prop up their l33t gamer skills. Before redoubling their attention toward the enemies. The martial class would slip back to being ready once the stray mob had been stunned. He had fully planned on farming and kiting them one at a time. Although he was fairly confident that taking a small group of mobs on at a time wouldn't be a problem for him & Doc at all. This was a starting area after all, so it couldn't be that harsh. The whole point was to help new players grow stronger after all! Right after Geo's initial target had missed their axe swing he'd go in to punishment! Lunging his spear forward to ram the enemy mob through- Then Doc grabbed his arm and started rushing him away. Geo might have poked the enemy before being dragged elsewhere. Honestly the avian was far too surprised to pull away or fully commit to the fight. Not sure why Doc was in a panic, or rushing elsewhere, and even less an attempt to move the fighter elsewhere. Geo more or less was dragged and stumbled along with an awkward mic squawk that wasn't too dissimilar to a bird. Geo could only look upon the massive waterfall that established the landscape. The sound of it was so wondrous in itself, not to mention the beauty of the world around them. It was a moment to be impressed with the VR software that had been attached. The shift of humidity on the skin, or the fur was something that Geo couldn't quite... understand what the caused but made the area feel alive. His brief alarm was shifted into a relaxed pace walk along with Doc. Although he did, stare at his partner curious of what the plan was here. It seemed the two were rushing ahead. Maybe Doc had been coming close to going to bed, or was just eager to clear the area. Seeing the various overturned carts, it actually pushed up Geo's enthusiasm for loot. If there were enough carts around to help form a wall, there was probably tons of trade goods or at least a good amount of gold (or whatever currency this game used). There was bound to be enough to get a new piece of gear out of it, something, decent versus the normal default drops. Maybe anyways. He did briefly stare at the grains turning to flour. He hadn't, seen the process of that before. Although he had known that's what a mill was supposed to do. Just never witnessed the process. Only to look back to Doc wondering if they rushed here just to see the mill working. As the guards didn't look like they were doing anything time oriented specifically. Although the guards were rather relaxed, perhaps even easier to defeat with one of them being unarmed and playing around. Upon hearing Doc's speech, Geo would slowly squint at them. Especially with just how _tense_ Doc seemed to be about the whole thing. Geo would move the staff end of his spear to softly poke at Doc on the nose. "Me thinks, you've been putting too much competitiveness on this. Maybe you rushed a bit ahead with your level too, but take a breather man." Geo shook his head and would whisper. "Unless they've got a ridiculous spawn time. We can poke or drag 'em one at a time, no? Once the guards are down, then the basket guys a bit after." "Worst that happens, we run into the river get splashed." Geo chuckled. [/cell] [/row]
